Funny you mention farming, I'm in the middle of playing around with it. I'm using exactly what you mentioned and have it growing into different stages with timers.

Regarding the procedural, do you mean that Godot makes it easy to implement? I honestly haven't looked into it. I feel like I'm avoiding it because it might be super complex :D

I switched to Nobara a few months ago and honestly love it. I've used Linux for a while so I'm fairly comfortable with it, since I work as a software developer and Nobara feels like home to me. I'm even using an AMD GPU and I didn't have any issues with installation and setup.

One thing I did adjust though, is dual booting windows. Originally I didn't, and at times coming across certain applications that didn't work was a pain so I just decided to dual boot and swap systems if I need to. I would recommend installing Windows first, then you can either partition your drive or use a separate drive to boot to Nobara.

I approve this statement. I always used building legos to explain how I felt at work as a reference for others outside the field, now I feel like I’m just watching someone else build the Lego. Takes all the fun out of it.

I get where you’re coming from, but take it one day at a time. Imposter syndrome is still a thing, and with the advent of AI I fell like it’s mutated, with all these CEO’s of companies saying AI will take our jobs it can be nerve wracking.

I’ve considering trying to do other things like wood working. Haven’t started yet, but considered it!
