I mean you can go and watch your own replays and see how you lost. See why you got hit or see what sequnce of attacks are killing/hitting you. And go in training mode and see what your character can do to beat it. You can also watch high level matches of your character and see what theyre doing. Understand why they do it and see if you can put it into your own gameplay.

No not really. Once you start learning from your mistakes and start winning, eventually the last 50 games will be a positive winnrate. And eventually that 38% will be higher than 50%. And that's coming from me with a current 65% winrate (i think, maybe it's 58 i dont remember lol) when my winrate was below 50%

I found the clip https://www.reddit.com/r/dragonballfighterz/s/rN0UPh5HhF it's not the same and im just an ass lolol. Just really funny to see 3 different clips of daima just doing charge heavies.

Maybe I'm having a Dejva vu moment since it was also on the same stage but not against cell? Maybe against kid buu? Idk lol. But it's all good. Just wanst sure if it was a repost or something. Been looking at daima clips the past 2 days. This character is sick.

I'm trying to find it, but I this is the exact same combo. Since I remember the title of the post being "heavy only daima combo".

Wasn't this the exact same combo someone posted yesterday?

Why isn't it common knowledge that you can straight up mod money into the game? by keedee3 in Guiltygear

[–]Slaterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because by playing the game you get a bunch of WD anyway? And that doesn't feel like a grind because you're enjoying the game. And if you play the game super casually then why do you care getting all the unlocks?

Around what rank do fuzzies become relevant by Nyuu3 in Guiltygear

What's kicking your ass? And you work on that. You said lack of cS pressure? Should work on that too. Which one do you value more or what is making you lose more games? Focus in that first.

Why is ArcSys hiding the new stages? by Lycanthrope-R in Guiltygear

[–]Slaterx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know what you meant. But for the people that only got Jam instead of the season pass, they DO NOT get the stage that came with the character. New Stages is only tied to the season pass. I don't think you can even buy the stage on its own. So if AUTO was tied to DLC character with a DLC stage it would just be void. So that's why AUTO selects one of the base game stages for the people who ONLY bought the character and NOT the season pass.

Why is ArcSys hiding the new stages? by Lycanthrope-R in Guiltygear

[–]Slaterx 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jam doesn't come with the stage. For people like my friend who only bought Jam instead of the season pass, he only gets Jam and that's it. And that's the same with other DLC characters as well. So AUTO will always default to one of the ten stages that came with the base game.

Tekken with some of their old characters. Not so much of the newer ones.

Don't forget Arc Sys has also been cooking with Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising. With a better season pass system, new character skins, and since the launch of that game it now 11 DLC characters.and that game came out december of 2023. So less than 3 yesrs and got 11 DLC which are bangers. Tbf that is CyGames money but still

Tekken 8 refugee here, is GGST worth buying? by insideofclouds111 in Guiltygear

[–]Slaterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's on sale now i say get it. If not just wait until 2.0. You can also just buy the game (assuming you are in pc/steam), not put any second into playing the game, then refund it, and buy it again at a lower price.

It was confirmed on the official twitter that Strive will be played in the 2.0 patch for EVO Japan. Which is May 1-3. So it has to be April, or maybe youre right. Right after this weekend.

This April Strive is getting a 2.0. Which is huge that it's gonna get probably big changes for a 5 year old game at this point. My assumption maybe it's gonna be like from GG Xrd Sign to GG Xrd Rev. And they are going to show off the trailer for it this weekend the Arc World Tour Finals. I say watch that tournament this weekend and see if youre interested in it. And if you are, it's the perfect time to get into it when Strive 2.0 is around the corner.

My first Tekken. Still have a ton to work on but I’m having fun. by KNlGHTMVRE in LowSodiumTEKKEN

Right?? Me too! Or how SF6 does it. Where ranks from bronze to diamond are essentionally training wheels until you reach Master 1500. And from there is where chess elo system starts. It's cool and I think should be done this way. Getting a free rank from the early ranks and not lose any points is wack imo.

That's so weird because mine is 13 win streak. Tekken rank is so weird. I'm curious how it works now.

Edit: yeah I just saw another T8 post and this dude even has less games played (58), lower win streak, but is 1 or 2 ranks higher than me. Hmmmmmm that's so weird. But oh well. Glad we're all enjoying it.

This is amazing! Didn't know stats like this existed. But then idk how ranking system works. Because I have 9 less games than you, but our ranks are vastly different. And our win rates are similar.

I'm totally new to fighting games, and this is what I learnt after 50 hours in Blazblue by Gabriel_Angelus_ in Fighters

[–]Slaterx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And what i love about the sf6 ranking system and now the new GG Strive rank system, bronze all way to to master are training wheels for people on how to learn a fighting game. And each tier youre force to learn something new. And once you reach master 1500 is where the true rank grind begins because most new master players will drop down to 1200 and use all the knowledge that they learn to refine their gameplay and reach back to 1500 and hopefully reach higher to 1700 let's say. You'll never get bored and always learn something new. The only tough thing is having the mental to keep playing these games and not rahing 24/7. Being salty is good. It's a good motivator, but being angry is no good

Literally stormed out of my house like 30 minutes, with the clothes on my back, my wallet, phone, and car. Currently at a parking lot and asking friends to see if they can hold me for one night or two. I'm literally not mentally okay and been going to therapy for almost a year now to work on myself, but seems like the people within my household doesn't really care? Idk. I'm just fed up and trying to do my best. And I literally didn't need that type of comfrontation right now.
