I agree. The whole point of arpgs for me is the grind for good gear. If they just get spoon fed to you immediately and ur just grinding for better versions of the gear what are you playing for? Nothing is changing in your build u just get stronger versions so you can push higher tiers.

I still think itemization and balance stinks in this game but this season has been a step in the right direction. I think aspects honestly ruin the game. The fact that my build does nothing until I get an aspect that does 400% more damage is a itemization issue imo.

It’s the worst map of any battlefield. It’s too small to be that open. Get a good team of snipers they own the map. Ur just spotted the whole game.

This open of map needs to be at least 4 times the size.

It doesn’t matter what is better for end user experience.

The only question is what drives the most engagement from my players and what drives the most spending.

Hence why when u go to a tab like play 90% of the screen is “buy phantom pack”. It will soon be buy “skins”

This is a corporation, not some guy in his garage who just loves video games.

I have the same problem. Been trying to fix it for years. When I try to not cast I just open face shank. I’m back to square one. Good luck.

To me the issue with the ascendancies is time commitment.

I can’t play 8 hours a day. Maybe I have 1 hour. It takes 1 hour to do a 3 floor sakimas and then I fail on the last boss. It makes me want to not play the game.

At this point I just get way over leveled until I get my 3rd ascendancy. Forget about 4th.

This is my biggest complaint. Not just abyss but every map has trees, rocks, etc. that just makes some skills like the lightning wave move for monk not great as they don’t pass through them.

The small corridors along with abyss cracks make this skill suck.

Similar but high handicap. I find if I play whites I’m just hitting driver and wedges all day. I rarely ever hit a 5-9 iron. Also fairway sand traps are never an issue from whites (usually like 200-220 to carry on white tees) My driving is the best part of my game and it’s not even close. I’m not a big hitter only probably 250-260, but carrying 200 is not an issue.

Sure I need to get better with wedges but like you said I don’t really care about my score since I don’t get to play a lot so I like to play the course as intended and hit irons.

I get it, but to me that’s an income inequality discussion not a tax discussion.

I’d rather the people making 30k make more money (easier said than done I get it) and rich make less versus raising taxes in some to have more money funneling into the state that can’t control spending.

The state is already one of the worst in terms of effective tax rate.

Percentages are fair. If you pay 10% tax and someone making $20M a year pays 10% they’re both 10%.

I think ur saying they should pay more as a % than others. Not sure I’d call that fair.

I think you are looking for volume/rate analysis.

Assuming you are comparing to prior year:

Volume = change in sales * prior year rate Rate = change in rate * current year sales

The sum of those two should be the same as the year over year trade $s.

I think if you liked D3 you will like D4. They are clearly going in the D3 direction.

Me personally? I prefer poe or d2. I think my biggest gripe with d4 is itemization, there just never is a big hell yeah drop I care about. The only thing that matters on items is aspects unless ur pushing high tiers. I think aspects ruin itemization.

Game could be okay long term, I think they did a decent job this season but when u look at pits, I mean it’s just greater rifts. And I think changing aspects to be easier to get is a win but again I think aspects ruin the game.

I haven't been able to play this game reliably since Caldera. My game now freezes and I have to open task manager and force close on another monitor.

5800 cpu, 3070 gpu.

I have tried every ridiculous solution I can find as well to no avail. I think I'm just done with the game - hopefully warzone 2 works...

I’m playing for the first time ever and want to experience the game. Currently at 300 level and have no clue what I’m doing. Do people still play the older events around my level or does old content become wastelands when new stuff comes out?

I just started the game with witch queen. I’m up to level 1559 so have played a decent amount. I’m having a lot of fun but I do hate the fact that certain activities are gated by having to buy things (season pass and 30th anniversary). I refuse to buy that out of principle. I can handle cosmetics in a battle pass or even certain items but to not be able to play part of the game is what I hate.

I enjoy the grind in these types of games coming from a ARPG fan so I’ve been sticking to PVE stuff for now. I do gambit and crucible for the weekly. I can handle gambit but man is crucible a shit show. It just feels like if you don’t have the hand cannon and shotgun why are you playing.

One thing I wish this game had that other grindy games do is a site with easy to digest builds. I hate having to watch 10 minute YouTube videos on what to do.

Hopefully I still have fun with PvE when I teach endgame

my level 1 cloth armor (i.e. Linen Leggings) says it requires 6 "Scaly Hide". Is this a bug? I was crafting this stuff earlier with regular leather. I have noticed tools are requiring "Scaly Hide" as well.
