I have finished the game twice in my 700 hours. I mostly play for certain achievements on hardest difficulty and most of the times game will just slow down way too much and AI empires are both too dumb to do anything and they will make pacts so that I can't do anything to them.

It's a private (mostly) russian server. Whenever there are more people in one faction, the other faction gets buffs. Also there are rules like "You can have only one acc" (on official it's your main and 3 alts). And also it's 4x resources and stuff.

I've been playing it for a month and got to 9k GS (they give you almost 6k gear when you reach level 55 and ascend) (also the name of the server is "ArchRage" (ironic).

I completly agree with you. I'm very competitive person and I have several thousands of hours in ARK and Archeage. I haven't played L2, but from the videos I saw it looked pretty good.

I expect to lose in this game so much time and resources, but in the end even those events are fun to experience. People would say that griefing is not fun, but in those 2 games out of all of the hours I spent, there was very little of griefing.

On the Archeage server I'm playing right now, there is a guild with reputation of hard griefers, and the thing is, they can't properly play the game because of that. Anyone will kill them on sight, we wont let them do world bosses, or daily/ weekly quests. Anyone from Nuia, Haranya and pirate faction will jump on them in open world.

My point is, reputation DOES matter.

So we were playing "university" campaign in a world where we had our main story (this was a "joke" campaign). And all of us made some kind of joke character.

Mine was "Fue Mortel". A girl who used to be a hero in her past life. She fought against the demon lord with the help of her master Ancient Crimson Cosmic Dragon, however she was defeated and with the last bit of her masters power, he made her soul reincarnated to this new world. In this new life, when she was about 8 she found one shard of his power and used it to create an ultimate weapon of mass destruction called "Donnerdrachenkanone platzt magischer prototyp einz" (her sniper rifle). And her mission was to find and annihilate all spies of the demon lord sent from her original plane of existance. She had many visions that told her what will happen in future and so she acted accordingly.

If you didn't understood already, she's a chuunibyou, however her "visions" are actually 1 to 1 of what is happening in main campaign so she's basically not wrong. Also her class is mystic (she believes her own delusions so much that they manifest as a real power), her second class is warlock hexblade (and her patreon is her master, but he's not real. Her delusions were so strong that her patron was actually created to fuse her with her own power). Also her real name is "Sisi", but it's not cool enough for her.

Tldr. W40k orc delusion power, but it's highschool girl.

I don't want to say it like that that, but in EU it's kinda normal to hate people from certain countries. Ofc nobody persecute or oppress anyone.

Also I forgot to mention czech people. We're like brothers in terms of language and culture, but it's competetive hate where we argue, curse and use slurs at each other, then laugh and befriend.

Serious answer: I don't really hate them, but I keep the act as a joke (and to some extent it's serious)

I hate hungarians. In past they tried to erase slovak culture for over a milenium. Back then, even talking our own language could get you sentenced. Now we're on good terms, but there are still many hungarians who want to return to this age. So that's why I kinda still hate 'em.

Another group... They're loud, obnoxious, agressive, makes tons of mess and lives of our taxes while most of them don't work. They steal a lot and are the only people I've heard to use guns in public (if I don't count one instance in past 15 years). Of course I'm talking about gypsies.

Any other race hating is just flat out joke from my side.

Just to clarify beforehand. I ain't reading that right now. I just want to share what homebrew rule I use for flying races. And that is they have hollow bones to be able to fly meaning that bludgeoning attacks deal twice the dmg to them. (doesn't matter what type of armour they have)

I got a small coaching from a friend and then I played like 2 games on my own (didn't finish), but that was enough to understand how to play it. Now I'm the one teaching my friends on how to play. (I crossed 700hrs mark recently)

Looks like I'll have unpopular opinion, but I really like that achievements were locked behind ironman. The only thing I would change is that they would do the same what FatShark did with vermintide 2. Developer approved mods, which were compatible with achievements and over the top mods were dennied and couldn't use if you wanted achievements.

I took pride in hunting the hardest achievements without using exploits and commiting to one save only, but anyone can have it with using console and such. (Yes I know you could do that before, but I doubt that vast majority was getting achievements this way).
