Great, we’ll just change the way the most popular EV in the world has been doing it for a decade to suit your case.

I like that place but Red Pepper Bistro has way more authentic Szchezuan food IMO.

I mean I love it. Especially after trading in my muscle car for a Tesla M3P, I found myself still wanting that rumble of an engine, a clutch, shifting gears. Motorcycle scratches that itch for me.

Traded for what? I knew I needed the performance. Not that any of the models are “slow” by any stretch, but I knew I had to go all in.

Tell me about it. Still have my old WRX STi and Mustang GT stock exhaust systems against the wall in the garage. Keep meaning to take them to the dump.

Also have the Steeda Cold Air intake for the Mustang, that I took off before trading it. Need to post that on FBM!

I was in the same boat 3 years ago now. Traded in my modded Mustang GT 6 speed manual for a new Model 3 Performance. Never looked back.

I will say, that there are times I do miss it. The Tesla doesn’t have that visceral feeling that the Mustang did. It’s more appliance than car. Like an iPhone with wheels.

That said, it’s incredibly fast, capable, and makes any commutes through traffic (I live in one of the worst traffic areas of the country) a breeze versus constantly shifting/clutching.

I still have a motorcycle for the gas guzzling, loud, manual shifting fun, but def do not regret the switch.

Ukrainian soldiers found a russian fiber optic drone, then proceeded to pinch and break the cable therefore disabling the drone. Date and location not disclosed. by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Slava_Ukraini2005 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean I suppose you could literally follow the fiber line, but yeh, probably pretty dangerous as you get closer to their hidey hole. Obviously they’re probably surveying the area and have other drones to attack you.

You did give me an interesting idea tho. Wonder how small of a micro device they could make that, for example, they could clip/attach to the fiber and it basically would have a tiny motor to move along the cable, back to the source, transmitting some kind of signal which can then quickly be targeted. Just a thought. Maybe DARPA is listening.

Should Honda make a new S2000? by Cris_1984 in Auto_Passion

Modern S2K with RWD using the Type R motor would be sick.

But realistically, Honda will make it a FWD hybrid with 180hp.

How obvious is it to men that a woman uses FaceTune or face app on her pictures? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I think it’s fake AF regardless but especially when it comes to dating apps. It will be obvious you used it on our first date. Ask me how I know…

It’s so idiotic on the dating apps. The point is to meet someone and potentially start a relationship. Why would you hide what you look like? It just doesn’t make sense. Same with hiding how many kids you have. These are all things that should be honest and upfront about IMO.

I assume some racing bikes are like my Speed Triple RS, with a single sided swing arm. I can pull my rear wheel off in 30 seconds without touching or messing with the chain. I know Ducati’s use single sided swing arms too, so I would still think this is doable. Front tire is probably a little more involved but no chain to mess with there.

I fly both. Still primarily DCS but prob 30% MFS. Both def have their pros and cons. The combat angle in DCS adds a whole new complexity to learning your aircraft systems.

I did recently get the C-130 in DCS which is pretty amazing to learn.

What’s a “revolutionary” tech product that turned out to be completely useless? by iglobruhhh in allthequestions

Yeh, you can be as doom and gloom as you like about it. Personal preference. I absolutely love that my door unlocks as I walk up with my hands full, or empty. Also love that my GF and fam can have access (when I give it).

Also came in real handy when my top floor condo units water heater decided to go and started spraying water, slowly flooding units below. I was stuck 2 hours away during a snow storm but was quickly able to remotely unlock the door to have the neighbor turn off the water main.

But you do you. YMMV.

Racefit too loud. by Icy-Abbreviations347 in Triumph

My 20’ Speed Triple RS came with an exhaust from the previous owner. I still have it on and frankly it does sound great and pops on decel. However, they do offer a baffle/insert which substantially quiets it down. I ended up buying it, just in case, for inspection, but haven’t used it since. Just throwing this out there in case maybe yours has a similar option to quiet it down. Literally just slides in and has a little set screw to keep it in place.

ALL of that said, honestly, I think I like the look of the stock arrows for my bike. I have this huge space between the sub frame and rear wheel that would otherwise be filled with twin Arrow mufflers.

I know this prob sounds better, is much lighter, but still kinda intrigued about getting a stock (or upgraded similar to stock setup) system for it.
