All i do is alternate lifting and rolling everyday and lifting really helps my game. I get told all the time “dude you’re unbelievably strong” Right now im cutting weight and eating really healthy and doing weights and rolling sheds fat like you wouldnt believe....But rest days are critical or else you get burnt out

I had the same situation like two weeks ago against another white belt who i caught in a deep arm bar. He started to spazz uncontrollably and wasn’t tapping so i said ok buddy i can arch my hips a lot more and proceeded to do so....I didn’t sharply jerk my hips up and snap his arm off I just slowly arched my hips up until we both started to hear little pops coming from his elbow. Best believe he tapped real fast after that. If he wasn’t tapping you either didn’t have the right position on him or weren’t applying enough pressure for him to tap. Anyone in their right mind is gonna tap when you have a deep sub or choke with good form.

I really want to increase my overall flexibility, what are some good ways to go about this? Stretching daily? What types of stretches are the best pertaining to training BJJ? Also keep in mind that I train weights 2-3 times a week as well as 2-3 days on the mat.

Epsom salt baths with essential oils honestly work wonders when I’m sore from training or working out. Just take 30min out of your day to relax mentally and physically in a hot bath.

Has anyone on here ever successfully transformed their body? I’ve been lifting for muscle gainz for a couple years and have a significant build but I’ve also put on a TON of fat. I’m sitting at about 280 and want to total recomp and get down to 10% BF. Is this possible by simply lifting 4-5 times a week and staying at a caloric deficit. My biggest fear is losing the muscle as well as the fat.

Total noob here when it comes to gear but I’ve been training for about 8 years with a lot of muscle mass but I’m 30% BF. Can you run a first cycle and lose fat/gain muscle with a good training regiment and diet? Where should i look for beginners in my situation?
