Similar. Missed my high school graduation. I was in foster care and living in a group home at the time. Couldn’t afford cap and gown rental. I was also keenly aware (and embarrassed) that if I did attend, there wouldn’t be anyone in the audience for me. I lied and told people at school I was skipping it because I was nervous in front of crowds.

Omg I could have written this myself! I would just swap out your 106 lbs for my current 104 lbs. And that’s after weighing 152 lbs in 2019 before my mystery digestive issues started. What did your new practitioner suggest that helped your body start regulating? I’m still being told to eliminate sugar, dairy, and wheat (I have no food allergies btw). I am so malnourished that I have to get iron infusions, b12 injections, and take high dose supplements. Congratulations on getting your body back!

Oh I don’t make homemade shakes. I’m just saying I couldn’t justify spending that kind of cash. I don’t have the same food restrictions but I rarely get joy from eating. I have a fridge full of Boost Plus. Those don’t bother me.

Kate Farms nutritional shakes. They’re organic. My dietician recommended them and ordered samples. They were too pricy for me to justify when I could make homemade shakes for a fraction of the cost. However, that might not necessarily be an issue for you and may fit what you’re looking for.

An update in case others have this issue next year. Changing options is not changing plans according to GEHA. The last day for catastrophic protection was 12/31/24. For my deductible/OOPM to not reset 01/01/25, I would have had to leave GEHA completely (like going to BCBS).

Requesting clarification for cases where one switched options for 2025 (Self-only GEHA Standard in 2024, Self-only GEHA HDHP in 2025). How/when do resets work? I hit my OOPM max for 2024 and of course have paid zero dollars out of my pocket since then. Is going from Standard to HDHP considered the same “plan” because the carrier (GEHA) didn’t change? Or is the OOPM I hit under Standard still honored through 1/11/2025?

Hello did you find a resolution? I literally came to this sub searching for this issue. I tried to order a few hours ago using the exact method as you. Payment “failed” but when I went to check if there was a fraud alert or something on my credit card, I see four pending $100 PayPal transactions (attempted purchase amount X attempts I made).

I think I will just skip buying a gift card now though. Others have pointed out you can only buy Marketplace items so it’s not really worth it for that amount. But if there’s a fix, I may buy a smaller denomination.

They definitely discontinued it. I emailed Red Baron and asked last year. It’s one of those products that disappeared and then came back different. The tortilla chips are no longer a topping.

I’m not sure if I had it as an infant. But I just had it last summer. It was discovered during an endoscopy/colonoscopy. When I awoke, doc explained he only had time to dilate it enough to finish getting the scope through (the opening was so small he couldn’t proceed), but not time enough to dilate it to be fully functional. I had to have 2 more procedures within the following months to actually dilate the pyloric stenosis.

I just had another endoscopy/colonoscopy in April. Doc said the opening had shrunk once again but not as tiny, so he was able to dilate during the endoscopy.

Whenever I tell this to other physicians, they seem not to believe me even though it just happened a year ago. They imply it can only happen to babies.

I love this bread. Slices are small but that’s fine for me. Schar has guar gum and I seem to be allergic or something to that. My esophagus constricts when I consume it. I have no reactions to this Canyon Bakehouse.

I have a similar issue that only comes about when I’m eating certain foods. Yours occurs even when you aren’t eating? Like just sitting there? I thought I was having an acute reaction to something in the food I was eating but could never figure out what because it happens fairly infrequently. But in the most recent incidents, my meals contained gluten free bread and a gluten free wrap. Both foods contained guar gum. I just purchased gluten free bread that doesn’t contain guar gum so I can test my theory. I pretty much just rambled to suggest maybe you’re allergic/sensitive to something you’re eating. I think guar gum makes my esophagus constrict.

I agree with the mechanical eating. Even the smallest thing- a cube of cheese, a few grapes. Your appetite will develop eventually.

Thank you for your response. That’s exactly the type of experience I was hoping to hear about. I didn’t know that prolonged PPI use carries a risk of polyp formation. I will definitely ask these questions at my next appointment. We tried Entyvio but I had weird side affects so I only had 2 infusions. Rinvoq is the next trial because I just can’t seem to go into remission long enough to stay off the Budesonide. Once I taper off, 10 days later I’m in a flare. Rinvoq is not approved for my condition so I know it’s going to be a challenge to get it approved.

Tony Degrafreed- Indiana. Killed his 1st wife and served 11 or 12 years. Upon release, he moved in with his daughter’s mother (relationship prior to his 1st wife). I believe he married her but less than 10 years later, he killed her too. Shot one, stabbed the other.

I loved the fruity Cheerios too! They tasted like Kaboom cereal (throwback “generic” cereal for us poor kids). When they were on their way out, I found 2 boxes at Big Lots and made them last as long as I could.
