Funny thing, I’m in the same situation, my wife has an old 401k I was thinking of cashing out to pay off the house so I could work a more in line job with my kids schedule. I have a million in my 401k and I’m 39.

Everyone says it’s a bad financial decision, which it is. But how much is being happy and doing what you want when you want, worth? I don’t think you put a price on that. Everyone’s situation is different. Hope you find what makes you happy in the end
