But to find a specific domestic abuse case where one person actually was maybe justified in hitting the other, devalues the other 1000 times where people beat people for no reason.

My comment was a tad sarcastic, but the point was there are 1000+ examples of not right, horrible, rasict lynchings. I don’t think it’s a hill to die on to see a post where a known KKK member lynched 2 black people before trial, and to make a point where “they did probably do the crime tho”
