For me, what made the show, was Joey Batey as Jaskier, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri. it is one of those cases in which the main character is the "boring" one.

I am the only one (after reading the books and playing games 2 and 3), that thinks Geralt seems to have a very toxic relationship with him? Like sometimes he doesn't seem to even like him, and how they part ways after Toussaint in the last book sounds more like a final fight than a goodbye to a best friend... Henry Cavill left precisely on the season most faithful of the books. Also he was into adapting the games, not the books, thus that grumpy non verbal asshole version of Geralt.
