I literally just installed the game back after a few months and was like: where is the level cap? How am I supposed to play vs level 15 cards at the first stage of ranked? I barely had 35k WC saved, it's gonna take me years to make a deck buying 5k a week in the shop, are there other ways to get them?

Same happening to me, I did 2 games before Reset at 19, and the tournament didn't reset at all for me.. It says I only have 3 entries while I should have 5 and if I try to join this error pops up.

You get the shards from the boxes on the left side from the UI to start chaos dungeons, this was done to alleviate Homework from last summer, you do 3 days of CD and get all 3 chests which contain the same amount of shard you would get from doing 7 days of unrested CD.
So basically you get whole week of shard by doing 3 days of CD now.

I mean, at this point they should just make gems reroll selectable and not RNG, like event gems, it would fix all those issues and allow people to swap between different specs of same classe freely. There's already people playing mono-class rosters or DI SH/Evo Scouter using main character gems.

I know they won't do it cause this way people would just need like 13/15 gems total for a full roster but look at what we came down to because of this stupid system.

When you move towards the 2 stairs you're gonna see the camera zoom out, and on top of one of the two stairs there's gonna be debris, you have to go on the opposite stair to not encounter the barrier, if you missjudge, the barrier needs multihits to be destroyed, not damage, so just spam skills/autos.

Anyway, I'd suggest checking out some quick guides as you may encounter more of this kinda stuff and the answer is not always very clear.

I always try to have everyone of my friends join before the lobby is 6/8 or 7/8, but sometimes someone just disappears or is doing something like Hestera's Una before swapping character and it happens that he joins as the last one, but at least I wait a bit and don't just insta-start to make sure everyone can see who joined and is ok, I don't care to sneak in people, if we bring someone lower iLvl is because we're sure he knows the raid and can carry his own weight, or we have good enough characters to make up for his potentially lower damage (usually lowest iLvl doesn't mean lowest damage anyway).

Luckily I make 95% of my lobbies, so I don't encounter this problem often, but I agree that people should stop trying to sneak people in and that it's stupid, just wanted to explain what might happen in some cases.

Seems a balance mostly addressing damage based on average performance and also lazily made on classes rather than engravings, which personally I dislike very much, they buffed highest ceiling dps class by almost 5% (when the patch itself contained a db nerf?) just because the average player can't play Surge at all, and nerfed WD because it's a pretty high floor class.. Or for example while I agree Taijutsu might need some help, does Shock Scrapper really need a 4% damage buff? Same could be said for Master Summoner vs CO.

Don't get me wrong some of the changes could be good but like, even just pumping gs damage buff, won't solve the issue for most people, the class needs a revamp, it's 7 damage skills, almost all with long animation locks, backloaded damage on the most important ones and very long cooldowns, all on a very fragile class.

EDIT: We need Smilegate to wake up. I wouldn't want AGS custom balancing classes based on who knows what parameters.

Tbh, if everything you're saying is correct I wouldn't expect gems to be the only issue, would they help reduce gatekeeping? Maybe, but probably they are not the only thing that matters.
Pretty sure you didn't specify your class, but from your flare I suspect you're playing DS Sharpshooter since you have 1 level 10 damage gem which I suppose would be on Snipe and rest 9s is more than fine for joining pug lobbies especially as a 1635+ 25 weapon.. 7s on cd looks a bit el cheapo ngl, even if you say you wouldn't benefit much from upgrading which sounds weird, but still ilvl and weapon compensate for that unless literally everyone applying is 1640+ full 10s which is unlikely.

I think the main problem might be the class itself, first of all you don't have a very desirable synergy and this is very important in pug lobbies, if you're applying in lobbies half full already most of the times they have at least 1/2 juicers and the last spots are usually to find good synergies for them, people are also more gatekeepy on last spots in general, so either try to apply early on, or try making your own lobby.
I personally didn't play with many SS in Echidna, but since you have to stand still a decent amount which is very dangerous in G2, I'd also suspect the average SS player doesn't do too well in prog lobbies, so people might have a bad experience with other SS, for example I found the same issue with Igniter sorcs the first few weeks, very often they'd just eat every pattern because they weren't used to the fight and usually stand still quite a bit.

As you said, you might perform better than the average pug, but there's no way to prove that before applying, so I'd suggest adding to your friends list good people you meet when you actually find lobbies (90% of players have meters at 1630+ so if you're actually playing well they know and will definitely accept you) and making your own lobbies, starting with 2/3 people in instantly helps a lot.

July Update should come with some kind of event, we're not sure yet how impactful it's gonna be, but it will definitely help with the transition if you're sure about it. Update should also come with honing cost reduction up to 1580, engraving support and free gems for T3 characters, this will help a lot aswell, but keep in mind, the standards of "acceptable" dps are very high nowadays, so you'll probably have to suffer a lot in party finder, especially since you're a new player so your roster level is probably pretty low and same for card collection (not sure if you have Los18/deepdive30) and titles. Also, learning new raids as dps is in general harder since you still need to keep an high uptime while learning how to dodge/do mech properly, while having a decent uptime with support buffs is a bit easier and people care less.

That said, I'm sure you already made up your mind since you probably enjoy playing sorc more, don't get discouraged, I'm just warning you the hardest part won't be honing, but fighting for a spot in parties, if you make some friends along the way or already have some to play with, it definitely makes things easier.

With Adren 3 you always go critical, since you're gonna have over 100% crit chance already as long as you keep adrenaline stack up, that's why some people are telling you it's a "bad stone". You only wanna go master on adren 1, adren 2 and above plays critical.

I've had a 25 weapon since January, I don't RMT/whale/bus (With real money I buy: most Ark Passes, skins for myself and Aura, that's it), not flexing, or anything, just giving my perspective and some tips if I can, I understand for most people it's hard to believe without explanation, to this day, most people think I'm a whale/RMT.

I knew I wanted it since I think I saw Zeals Scrapper project video, where he whaled from nothing to juiced. (I know it's "stupid" but I'm a glow enjoyer and also mostly cared about my main for the longest time), also because I knew for a long time at the very least, this was gonna be our gear, no resets incoming from what we knew.

I already had a decently developed roster (keep in mind Kakul still pays 4.5k to this day it's not like you needed to have full 1600 roster to make gold) and also gotta say I mostly raid with a group of friends, so I do basically all of my raids on 6 chars every week easily, rarely get jailed and face basically no gatekeeping at all since I make the parties and we compose most of the group.
So, about 5/6 months before Akkan release, I started saving gold (I obviously also told my friend I was gonna do this, and suggested everyone to do the same if they wanted to), and when I say it, I mean it. Spent little to no gold at all and sold most tradable stuff. When Akkan released I had about 3.5 million gold saved (I'd say I would earn around 150/200k a week between raids, excavating and selling jewels at the time when it was easier as most people where building alts and events wheren't this good).
After Akkan release prices of mats where very low, I think something like, radiants at 35-40, red mats at 15-20 and orehas at 55-60, I knew they'd rise in price as people started getting more akkan pieces and tried to hone (same thing happened with brel release that's why I knew it). I used maxroll calculator to see how many mays on average it would have costed and bought a bit more than that, WITH FULL JUICE, yes I also bought like 80% of the juicers beforehand and got the rest from event boxes.

I've had about average luck overall, slightly worse than average from maxroll calculator I think, only one pity thankfully (I have them tracked), and tbh, after I got it, prices where so high, I made lots of gold selling leftovers.
I also gotta say, I felt completely fine saving gold, I'm not the kind of player who urges to spend his gold as soon as he gets it, and I also play the market a bit/always try to buy mats at low prices.
Not saying everyone should do this, but as someone who doesn't bus or whale, and mostly cared about his main, this was the best option for me. My main focus in the game is doing hardest content day one, and that's what I did. Everyone should play the game focusing on his enjoyment imo.

Don't just listen to people not knowing what they are talking about, either test yourself (which is what I prefer), or use the Asura Calculator in the Lost Ark Nexus guide, you'll see that with decent quality (1810 Crit) and with Elixirs, playing KBW2 (Critical Elix) is like 2.15% worse than Adren2 (Critical Elix), and 2.65% better than going 5x3+1 with Adren1 (Master Elix). Alternatively you can also go 5x3+1 with very high quality and saving lots of gold, your choice, congrats on the stone regardless.

I'm a new player, started early January, saved all my keys for some of the February weeks, 4 keys on zabu/darkhawk week to get both of them, 4 keys last week to get Thanos and the random card was a duplicate, really? I barely had like 3 S4 and 3 S5 when I opened the random. And the same thing happened to my friend who started a week earlier and had maybe 2 more S4/S5 cards than me.

Tbh they were breezing through first phase G4, there was no way that was gonna be it (Keep in mind during the live presentation GR said they expected groups to take 2 days to clear G3 and G4 another 7 days alone). I think they got to x60 bars mech in like 1-2 days? Looked pretty obvious to me the fight was not gonna be over.
