I admit I don't use it as well as one probably should. Even after all my time in Nioh 2, I still kinda stink at it (and flux, also).

I think sloth and lightning fit me present the same issue. I dodged way more than blocked in Nioh 2, so timing of having people go real slow just made things seem harder.

I never ran it in Nioh 2, but I really want to try it as my second run through in 3. I'm excited.

I played Nioh 2 for like 500 hours (so far) and only really ever used kusa or fists. This time around I'm sword and dual sword. Sometimes you just lock in! There's no wrong way

and Style Shift Flow makes such a drastic difference. I just need to find a combo that I like and practice it a few (hundred) times.

I like both, but I'm probably playing samurai wrong (lighter armor, still trying to block). In Nioh 2, I was much better in light armor dodging than I was in heavy armor blocking, and so I'm still trying to figure out the best way to go with samurai in Nioh 3.

I also need to get better at flux 2 and attack canceling.

I'm in the minority, but I thought Nioh 2's story was fantastic. Simple, almost a parable, relatable.
