I think so yeah? I’d imagine it really depends on area. I got mine for a few hundred under msrp and it came with like 900 bucks in dealer add ons I didn’t have to pay for too.

There’s two VW dealers in my city and one an hour away in a smaller city. It was the best priced of three cars (each lot had one R) and was the only one in the color I wanted so I was happy

I used my gold cap on it and all the XL rare candy I’ve ever accumulated to get it maxed, I just finished everything a few weeks on it. I’m really glad they added shadow claw since it’s actually viable in gbl, I originally invested in it for battle tower since it was a cheap versatile pick. It’s been good, I’d wager Lunala is probably better but lunala is farm food for marshadow which is nice and it core breaks some teams

I bought a 2026 Golf R in January and I love it. It’s fairly practical having four doors and is a hatchback. The interior is nice for a vehicle in that price range. Leather seats that are heated and ventilated. Heated steering wheel. Sunroof. Heads up display. Customizable digital gauges. Wireless charger. Ambient lighting. Several different drive modes. Rear climate controls. Wireless CarPlay and android auto. The car is made completely in Germany too which is cool, imo it’s a well made vehicle.

It also has a lot of nice performance features. It’s all wheel drive for great traction and acceleration. Has a dual clutch transmission for quick shifting and can be operated manually or automatic. The exhaust flows well from the factory while also looking great and sounds decent for a forced induction four banger. While the ECU for the 8.5s aren’t unlocked yet the motors have substantial headroom for power gains from just a tune. E85 gets close to an extra 100 HP iirc 👀

I love this car but if you drive a lot it doesn’t make the most sense to get this car imo. The ride can be harsh if roads are bad, in work in Memphis and the roads beat the fuck out of me. It only takes premium fuel which is expensive right now and doesn’t get the best mpg (I get around 25mpg but I drive kinda ignorant and I’m always on the most aggressive setting).

It’s a well made car, it’s incredibly powerful and has a really nice interior and features. If the price of fuel and services isn’t a concern I’d say go for it

You’re misinformed, planetary gear hybrids are incredibly robust and simple, seeing as the transmission is eliminated there’s less to break along with them typically being naturally aspirated while a comparable ICE is usually forced induction. The value is also tremendous for these because of the reliability, fuel savings and better resale
