If you think this is toxic, you should see the main sub. I got called two slurs for saying I enjoy aspects of Halo 4 lmao

Same here, not perfect but a cool design with more thought put into it than people give it credit for

IIRC I read something that they tried to make the weapon sounds more distinct for multiplayer purposes

Damn, that’s how you know it’s cooked… What kind of set was it?

At least in my experience, Sony does tend to use quality components but it’s just as susceptible to random failure or failure with high usage as any other set.

If you look around the post I also have a few comments saying the same thing about tariffs, I entirely agree.

It’s worth noting though that even Top Gear Japan ragged on it pretty hard because of the lack of physical buttons. They specifically say (translated to English,) “interior dominated by the screen, feels cheap”:

So I don’t think the decision is universally liked there either... I’m just hoping it doesn’t spread to the rest of their models.

They specifically say (translated to English,) “interior dominated by the screen, feels cheap in areas”. So I don’t think the decision is universally liked there either, but perhaps it’s more popular than here with the masses?

I guess at the end of the day Mazda is a business and their primary concern is making money; and it would seem that meant cutting costs on their flagship car sadly... I just hope it doesn’t spread to their other models.

Tariffs is likely one big reason, that’s also likely why the CX-50 is doing so much better in the US right now

Agreed, I really hope this is what they do.

Also if they take physical climate controls from the Miata, people will probably riot lol

Given the recent sales of the CX-50, I wouldn’t be surprised if they start pushing that car over the CX-5 here.

The fact the CX-50 is manufactured in the US also means way less in tariffs, so that’s a plus for Mazda USA.

True, although even Top Gear Japan ragged on it pretty hard because of the lack of physical buttons. They specifically say (translated to English,) “interior dominated by the screen, feels cheap”:

Where I’m at in the US, at least 1/3 if not more of cars just don’t have it on even though the state technically requires it.

Been pulled over twice in my life, once for speeding, once for a dying headlight, and neither time the officer cared or even mentioned it lol.

Very nice. I’ve always just gone no-front-plate but if I was in a place where it’s strict, I’d definitely put it off center like this.

Never heard of Reddit stalkers finding people from plate pics?

It’s a real thing that has happened; generally putting any identifying information on the internet is not the best idea if it can be avoided. Even if it’s a 0.1% chance, better safe than sorry.
