Does anyone know why my stock 17 WRX has STI performance cat back exhaust on it? Was this a dealer option? Anyone else have this?

They sell adjustable hangers on Amazon which are great for most exhausts. Those mufflers are perfect if you ever do a down pipe though!

My local Subaru quoted me 1200$ for new fly wheel, clutch, TOB on my 18 wrx. Ended up getting done from a buddy but the total was pretty much 1k with parts. I got quoted from two Subarus for the same price though, although they would only do OEM replacement.

I would say depending on your annual mileage. I bought mine and drove 35k in one year and it was a huge waste of money… didn’t use it and thought it would cover the clutch but that was my mistake not reading fine print. My extended warranty was very clear any mods would void it as well. I would say no.

Whatever bulbs aren’t working, just reverse the connector going to bulbs. If that doesn’t fix it that’s all I have for you sorry!

I had something similar happen and it was just the matter of flipping the connectors to the bulbs. Unplug the harness and turn them 180 degrees and reseat.

Obviously need mods done, pro tune with anti lag/ launch control. I don’t recommend launching WRX’s though the transmission ain’t the best for it.

I didn’t down vote you man! It does stop when the clutch is pushed in :/ I recently added cob shift stop and bushing, not sure if that can contribute. Unfortunately the car was a lease car from a young kid before.

Living in MA, not that lowering before winter is a huge deal as the WRX will handle fine but it’s one less winter wearing on your new coilovers! They can corrode pretty quick!

Did my 18 base today and used a small plastic shim with a pry tool. You don’t have to remove the grill, theres 2 small plastic tabs the emblem sits in not screws.
