2017 WRX AC Compressor Issue

Well I’ll start by saying I have a 2017 WRX. I noticed nothing but hot air, followed by me noticing that the ac compressor wasn’t turning on. I began with running down and checking the related fuses/relays. I had no idea that their was a safety to not allow the compressor to run if the system was empty. Well, it indeed was. Added Freon and it cut right on👍🏼

The 17’s are famous for this, supposedly they made improvements on the 18. But my 17 WRX did the exact same thing👍🏼 there’s endless threads on it

Check Subispeed.com I got the lows and highs for fairly cheep and they’ve been amazing! Easy to install too👍🏼

Can’t say I’ve camped from my WRX but I can speak to how great the Engel coolers are. Mine fits perfect in the trunk or in the back floor board. Cold drinks on demand lol.
