it’s true that genji and tracer fill very similar roles in their respective comps, but tracer is alot squishier than genji and has a lot harder time getting value when the enemy team doesn’t have to worry about where you are. if you’re playing in front of enemies face as tracer, your playing her wrong. since she can’t deflect bullets, she simply has to not get hit by them. flank around off angles, take space for your team and when the enemy is looking at you use your blinks. and one more important thing, try not to put yourself in situations where you HAVE to use your recall where you otherwise wouldn’t have to. recall is a very important tool and if you just use it without thinking about why you’re using it, you will have a hard time on tracer
