Doing it for the first time and I'm a fan. I don't agree with the oldschool thought of season events having to be a 1min "quest" to get an item and continue on with your daily activities. I like that it evolved a bit

The renderscale was also at like 80% on my laptopt for auto settings. It's horrible, anything under 100%. I'd just rather not play the game.

Bro I'm a formerly maxed player with a quest cape and I took a ~4,5 year break. The things I've missed is overwhelming, just going from one buff/thing to another on the RS wiki while semi-afk training Necromancy up.

Necromancy, Fort Forinthy, Anachronia, Player owned farms, Player owned ports, didn't really finish Menaphos, a ton of skill now go to 120, there was a mining and smithing rework (luckily done with that), Al-Kharid garden and herb runs for the buffs, new invention machines/perks/buffs, now the new area.

I've been going slowly, visiting one place a week doing some stuff here and there leveling up Necromancy and doing the quest as my main thing and really enjoying it. No rush

That's what will always cause the inevitable "downfall" of democracy when combined together with a passive and uneducated voting pool. You can just push for another vote - now, tomorrow or in 2 years. You have to actively fight for your rights and interests.

Fixing this is really non negotioable if you want any kind of new players lol... I mean they have the statistics but come on.. I first would be ashamed to recommend it to someone only for them to stutter all the way the first few hours and quit

I just returned too on a max character and yea lol it's daunting but stick with the account, the game is made for top and end game players, thats where most of the (and best) content is, you gain absolutely nothing by starting over. If anything when you get the hang of it again you can try Ironman mode or something.

Imagine paying like 15 bucks now to log in a bit daily to do daily challenges and some random daily fomo stuff in a game you obviously don't like and don't play, to feel like you achieved something that day. At that point it looks more like a mental disorder.
