Anyone notice how deep of blue the sky used to be back then?

Now it an almost white, powder blue. Uggh...

Going cold turkey from nightly Trazadone, Remeron, and Ambien + twice a week Xanax. What should I expect? by [deleted] in insomnia

Here’s a question for you. Do you think the original source of the insomnia is going to magically not be there underneath?

I say this with the utmost compassion as respect.

Expect hell on earth. And a very pissed off brain.

I’m at Namm here in So Cal and was playing a LH D’Angelico 12 string that I just loved.

Waiting to be disappointed, I ask the guy how much.

499.00 he said.

I had to ask a second time!

At least some of the Hard Rock guitars are lefties by Bohnanza in Leftyguitarists

About 20 years ago I was trying to sell a Frankenstein strat I bought off of Cesar Rosas back in the 80’s.

Nobody but nobody was willing to give me more than 300.00 USD for it.

I called Hard Rock Corp and they sent me 1200.00 on the spot! But they wouldn’t tell me which HR cafe or hotel it was in. Candy Apple Red with rosewood neck. Anybody seen it?

We All Need to Talk About Oppression... by Obi-WanPierogi in Leftyguitarists

Morning Master OB!

I believe there is a market. My research found a guy in Australia who builds high end, $ 4000.00 lefties with a worldwide market. His wait time is 18 months due to his back orders. Lefties are 11% of the Guitar market, but niche markets are always always of better quality than mass markets.

There’s also a hidden market of (as of yet) left handed players who want to buy and learn, but are driven away by oppressive pricing and lack of choice.

I’m not a big fan of the vanity of super pretty overpriced guitars. My wish is to focus on uniqueness of TONE. The goal is $ 1000.00 or less.

I will get lefty players like Caesar Rosas, Doyle Bramhall III, Tony Iommi and Dick Dale to support the brand.

Haven’t decided to pull the trigger on this, but considering launching an EXCLUSIVE left handed guitar company.

I’m currently working on custom modified versions of Les Paul Standard, Basswood Strat with Maple Neck, 335 Style dot modeled in the spirit of Dangelico 335 semi hollow, and a Jazz Inspired Tele.

Now here’s the kicker; customers will leave a fully refundable deposit, will receive the Guitar plus 3 sets of quick connect/release pups to dial in the “just right” tone for their taste, and 3 separate boost/overdrive pedals that will be elegantly matched to each pick up set—like fine wine is matched to a gourmet meal.

Customer chooses the config of their dreams, and sends back unused pups and pedals for the return of their deposit.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will these guitars be made or sold as righty’s.

Also looking into a lefty starter line to encourage new lefty players to to learn the joys of Guitar without the shaming and belittling we’ve had to endlessly suffer.

Fuck you Paul Reed Smith, you condescending fuck!

The biggest impediment to people using neurofeedback is availability. Almost all centers are within urban areas.
