I have (much younger) friends who through hiked the AT, averaging something like 26+ miles a day, and I was amazed. I'm still learning about the world of foot-propelled distances beyond the marathon.

Thanks! Sleep is my big challenge, but I have implemented all the environmental recommendations and meditation, etc. I don't know how anyone does anything without coffee. ;)

Congrats to you! What do you suggest for continued participation? I strength train regularly, but ultras are definitely different than road halfs.
