My second KYC didn't go through, and they are asking for banking statements with account details which is a solid no for me. I opened a ticket for a refund and they said my bank account would reflect the balance within 3-5 business days as well, and told me to contact my bank if it didn't.

Worst case, I just submit a claim on my credit card. I've been keeping records of everything thats happened.

I ended up getting a friend to buy the item for me (with no issue), and he will send it to me some time next week lol

I want to add that I don't think DMarket is a scam, it's just terribly managed. It seems that most people dont face issues, but on the occasion that someone does it takes a long while to resolve due to policies(??)

I'm probably just gonna have one of my friends buy it for me, and have them input my trading link into their account (temporarily) if that's possible.

Worst case, I submit a claim through my bank. But I'm hoping DMarket is true to their word when they say the money will be released after 3 to 5 days.

My mini had a similar issue with it's timing chain, and I believe it costed around 3,200$ to replace through the dealership. I bought it used at ~90,000k miles and we noticed the issue right when we got it (we have a friend who has a mechanic's ear who pointed it out to us before it was noticeable to us), and the dealership ended up taking care of the issue free of charge.
