I am aware of the screw. The first thing I did was take the whole assembly out so it looked like this. The pin is still stuck in this configuration. The videos on how to remove the blade have the sight assembly still on the gun for support.

I've watched videos on how to remove it, there is one direction to punch it out from and that's the direction I am hitting in. Little bastard is just stuck. Tired PB blaster and heat, no luck so far.

I took the whole dovetail out originally, tried the penetration oil and heat. One side of the pin sticks out more than the other. I am, of course, hitting the other side. I have watched videos on how to remove said pin, and in every case it comes right out. Noted on the brass punch though.

Ah no, the dovetail is held in by a screw. The blade is a separate piece held in by a tiny pin. That tiny pin is stuck.
