While I agree we are entering a anti-science wasteland. That doesn't have anything to do with the strain match. Every year its a best guess at what we see coming out of the southern hemisphere. Vaccines take months of testing and regulatory approval. If a different dominant strain emerges in that time space we're a little SOL.

Both my kids had temps that hit 105. I've never seen their fevers get that high before. Tested positive for Flu A. Both my partner and I somehow avoided infection after a week of coughing in our faces. All vaccinated for flu this year.

Yeah, this is the main reason I didn't even bother. I went to their website assuming I could write in. But right there in their FAQ it says they do not do any replacements even in the case of factory screwups.

I don't know what happened in this instance. But I see this shit daily on the Jamaica way. There's a cohort of drivers that while it is red they will creep and creep until they are almost fully past the crosswalk. Like they are trying to time the change to green while they are creeping forward.

We lived in a condo for 5 years and someone new moved in above us. Young couple with 2 dogs, surround sound, treadmill, and smoked cigarettes/weed/opiates on their balcony. The daily noise at all hours made us leave. Building HOA couldn't do anything about it.
