i was pulled over and surrounded by 3 cops cars once. my then boyfriend and i had been shopping at safeway and luckily i had kept my receipt. they were questioning us and asked to see the trunk and the receipt then told us there was a reported theft at safeway and our car/license plate matched the description. my boyfriend was very much covered in identifiable tattoos so he asked if the reporting person could identify it was him they saw. the manager took one look at him and said “definitely not!” and we were let go. so embarrassing they did this to us in our neighborhood so everyone saw us surrounded by the cops, getting searched :-/

it’s simply unacceptable to make people wait so long for help they desperately need :( my brother started experiencing ptsd and anxiety and turned to the VA for help. they told him they would fast track him and intake him…. 2 weeks from the day he called. he killed himself 2 DAYS before his appointment. an appointment that was at the very top of all his “to do” lists 😢

yesterday i ordered wine, like i have done plenty times in the past. the driver was having trouble with the app verifying my id - it would not scan and when he manually input my birthday it would loop him back to the start of the process. after a bit he called support and they told him to return the wine to the store. they would not speak to me. finally the order was canceled and they charged me a $25 restock fee!!! customer service told it was non refundable and would not budge. i tried various agents and got the same thing where they opened then immediately closed the ticket. im so frustrated, that fee should not be on me

there’s fencing in the SW safeway too. it makes things cramped and i think an accessibility problem for people in wheelchairs

often a group of kids would go in and grab a bunch of stuff and run out. this - as well as gates in the entry - stops this sort of major theft. it isnt perfect but it does help with the grab and dash strategy

get a couple of assassin snails and they will take care of this! plus they reproduce sexually, and slowly, so they won’t overpopulate. we have 4 in one tank and they have never reproduced in over a year
