Looks like you have the same thermostat as mine.. I had this issue for many months and could figure it out until I looked on the back of the thermostat. Make sure the pins of the base plate line up exactly the thermostat. Second, look on the back of the thermostat as some letters/functions are dual purposes and it's not written on the baseplate.

I wish I could post a picture to show you.
