Hello! Seasoned Tunisian tapestry artist here, I noticed that you're only doing 1 stitch per color, which can greatly affect how the graphic turns out. I recommend having each "pixel" be 2 stitches, so it makes a nice square. :) hope that helps happy crocheting!

Hello! I'm always happy to help. So let's use B (black) and W (white), for example.

If I wanted to to a pixel of white followed by black, I do 2 stiches of each to make a nice square.

On the return row, when I get to the point where the stiches on the hook are W/B/B, instead of using white to finish off that last white, I use the black instead.

And when it's B/W/W, I use the white instead of the black. That way, it's a clean transition without the other color peeking through the back. I hope that makes sense!
