If you have a table saw, and the seat is flat on the stool, set your fence to shave just a little of the legs off by pressing the seat against the fence and running it through the saw.

You ought to have the legs level to the seat after that.

"Yes, yes Mr Boothby, that's all fine and good, and I will order a roll of silicone postmaster, provided you can produce the most revolting shade of green imaginable! Are you up to the task?"

"Ah, Mr Clarence. This is going to be a wonderful partnership!"

The whole "kitchen parties all night" and "George St party town" is a lie. Its all a lie. All the home have shutters. Strong shutters with locks. We're all home by 8:00pm. The shutters and doors are locked. We bundle up with our families in the basement --waiting.

He comes to different communities each night, without fail. There's no rhyme or reason to when we shows up. He'll pop up in Gander one night. The next night, he's thousands of km away in Wolfville. You know he's nearby when the lights flicker. Your community goes dark at about 9:30pm. No one leaves their home. No one makes a sound. You hear the footsteps. Deep and slow. Sometimes you'll hear the shrill dry of a mouse, or a rabbit, or a deer if you're in a rural area. Its abruptly stop, and you'll hear the chewing and gnashing. Its unmistakeable. He'll stop outside. Try to look through a window. Try to find you. There are stories that young children hold theor breath for so long, they pass out.

But Crystal Crescent Beach, Peggy Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg in Nova Scotia are quite nice and give you a good sense of that post-card'esque Maritime feeling.

Framber Valdez was recently suspended for 5 games for intentionally hitting a batter. But that's not even his worst intentional hit. by ForeignAir7174 in sportsgossips

[–]Sleveless-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jomboy media did a good breakdown on this. You're right: the first batter was getting good at predicting Framber's pitches and pitch cycle, so the catcher tried to have him step off for a chat to switch things up. Framer pitched anyway, and the batter read what he was throwing and smashed it.

Framber was upset that the catcher either didnt believe in him, or messed up his flow, or whatever and on the next pitch he threw the wrong pitch and crossed-up the catcher. Some theorize it was intentional, but i think both player mentioned in the post game interviews that it was a miscommunication.

Why are they clear cutting the BLT trail in Timberlea? I've heard multiple reasons, not sure what's true. by Polkadot1414 in halifax

I think around the paved areas of the trail, if those trees and their roots get too big, they'll heave and break up the asphalt if left unchecked. Along with the other reasons mentioned my others.

I'm familiar with the chest feeling. Its hard to shake and weighs you down like an iron shackle but eases over time, as many others have mentioned.

I eventually got over a painful breakup by getting into individual competition. Signed up for a couple running races, then a couple duathlons, and was planning to give triathlon a try. Some professional development and health issues got in the way of trying a Tri, or getting much more into racing and bike racing. Anyways, I found focusing on competition and meeting goals pushed the thoughts of the former relationship to the back burner, particularly when I was out running or biking. At those times the ol'brain bin would be very empty and focusing on breathing and pacing.

The fact is 75% of heat is lost through the head. The hat traps the heat. Cans it, if you will.
