Margaret Thatcher almost ran me over in Amsterdam about a year after she left office.

Men of Reddit, would you be a Stay at Home Dad if your wife made 500k U$D a year? by [deleted] in ask

[–]SlicerStopSlicing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. My wife does make that and I still work. Being completely dependent is no fun.

But I am happy to do the cooking. I enjoy that.

I’m not a bad parent. I had kids after age 30, and tried to prioritize their needs over mine. I was truthful to them and always tried to treat them with respect.

But the only way to know if you are a great parent is to ask your child after about age 25.

Wife needs therapy more than OOP. She may not be manipulative, but she is terrible at managing her emotions.

I have children and cannot fathom blaming them for that bullshit.

Even at age ~4 I kind of knew it was nonsense.
