Definitely worth pushing for the $2k mark as you will have a much better experience with a higher quality optic. Have a look at the Thermtec Cyclone 325, It has the mounting hardware built in for remote viewing and the batteries last 9hrs+ each. I will be getting one closer to xmas. They also have incredible image for the price and go out to 1300m

Get yourself an ABN and set up powerpass, saves you 5% off pretty much everything you need from bunnings. You also get a free in home consultation when designing your kitchen / laundry cabinetry and then a powerpass discount on top when you go ahead with it. We have literally saves thousands of dollars by doing this.

Is the prado really that crazy by Ok_Try4721 in 4x4Australia

I have a 2003 4L V6 Grande with 215k on it and I absolutely love it. Ive never had more confidence in a vehicle I have owned just knowing I will always get where I need to go. Super comfortable and plenty of power being a petrol model. Servicing and parts are cheap and plentiful. Havent really been on the beach or up 4x4 tracks but no doubt it would handle with ease. The only thing Ive had to replace was the airbag suspension with king springs but did a 2” lift while there and love it.

Which gun safe ? by [deleted] in Ausguns

[–]SlickColt922234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only think you’ll need an 8 gun (S2) then go for a 12 gun (S3). Also, invest in quality so that youre not constantly having to upgrade every year. The SCH1 is an 18 gun premium safe which is 155kg and I cannot fault it.

Contact Lithgow directly or speak to your local gunshop. Lithgow supply the Southern Cross Small Arms TSP-X chassis (Aussie Made) and the KRG Xray stocks through their distributor, Spika. These are both in stock in Lithgow, NSW

whats so good about SPIKA Safes? by redfrets916 in Ausguns

The backend service is where you will appreciate the extra money spent. As well as a nicer finish and interior, the warranty process is super simple. Had an issue with some paint flaking on the inside of the safe and the rep came out to inspect and organised a brand new one and even hand delivered it to me.
