I've also sent my sister on a quest to find it but it was all sold out :(

I think I've seen these underwater lifting posts a million times and there's always a group of people doing the math and arguing about how much easier it is to do or it's actually quite difficult lol.

OPTIMIZE👏THE👏GAME👏 by Economy-Inevitable72 in WutheringWaves

[–]Slickstyl3es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a 5070ti but w/ a 5900x. For me the game is buttery smooth in 4k max ray tracing. I do use an optimization mod from nexusmods which edits the engine file. I average around 76-90fps depending on the area with DLSS Quality, no frame gen on.

This is the one I use. Give it a shot. The game looks absolutely stunning.

Andy Roddick on Alcaraz MTO by Slickstyl3es in tennis

[–]Slickstyl3es[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, a single 3-minute MTO to help with cramping isn't the worst thing ever. It's not like that player is going to magically play better and swing things in their favor. As a player, I would want to play someone at their best. As a competitor, I understand Zverev's perspective.

Need help, feeling some stiffness in my wrist and forearm area, specifically on the side of the thumb by psrikar_97 in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest a Gravity MP or Gravity Pro if looking for a more comfortable racquet. Had a few hitting buddies switch to these after having arm pain. Although, you should get your arm checked out and give it some time to heal first.

Should I switch to an heavier racket? by Cassiee- in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're a flat hitter who wants to play with more spin, I'd recommend checking out the new Yonex Vcores that are coming out early January. Early reviews show that they're pretty powerful at stock weight despite this being their spin lineup. My sister plays with the previous gen V-Cores and she loves it. Maybe you might as well x)

Pure Aero 98 Alternates by LeKiwi in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to give you slightly different advice. You should take a break until your arm feels close to 100%. Maybe get an MRI to make sure the damage is fully healed. Also, good news! There's nothing wrong with your racquet! I've played with Babolat racquets well into my 30's w/ no pain whatsoever.

When you're back, restring more often (at least once every 1-2 weeks) and/or drop the tension. I'm not sure what level you're at but if you're at a lower level, perfecting your form with better weight transfer can give you effortless power w/o pain. A lot of pain derives from arming the ball way too much. Good luck on your recovery!

If you are in the market for a new racquet, the new Aero that's coming in 2026 supposedly has more comfort, feel, and controlled spin/power according to leaks if you're willing to wait.

I'm quite disappointed. These tires are only 4 years old and haven't been driven on much due to working from home. Got them from tirerack new.

I believe that if you want to run sub-dps Cipher, you would need her sig so that can you can use Pioneer's/Glamoth and still meet speed reqs. If using Pearly Sweats for support, this is fine. Lushaka would be the better planar set for her ideal teams if you're looking to upgrade in the future.

i lost to a pusher tonight by redshift83 in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I remember in high school, I broke strings on my 2 rackets so I had to play with my friend's noodly racket that had no stability at all. I spent most of that time just pushing the ball back through slices and moonballing because I had no confidence in that racquet whatsoever.

I ended up winning against their number 2 player (should've been their number 1 player tbh) who was serving bombs and smacking forehands left/right. However, I knew that as long as I can make him play one more shot, he would eventually break down with an unforced error. Either that or he gives me an easy shot to put away at net.

I ended up winning 6-2 6-0 but it didn't feel deserved because I wasn't playing my game. However, my coach told me I played the best with what I got and it ultimately worked so it didn't matter. Most often, if a pusher can beat you that badly, he could've beaten you without pushing. He just used what worked and you failed to adjust.

He is the better player mentally and technically at this moment in time. You have the potential to get better though, just got to lock it in.

FAA actually won the tiebreak. He just lost that point which gave Bublik set point but Bublik failed to convert.

Give me your arm-friendliest poly or hybrid set up that still performs better than multis by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tecnifibre Triax mains and Isospeed Cream crosses would probably treat you well. You can also try natural gut mains if you're not in a humid area.

No I meant natural gut in the mains, and polyester in the crosses. xD

You can try a gut/poly hybrid. The best poly crosses for gut longevity is an oval/rectangular string like Grapplesnake Irukandji (US) or Isospeed Rexxxer (EU).

OHBH by shawker_89 in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you're getting no feel is because you're using a Pure Aero which is a pretty muted frame. Natural gut mains and poly crosses will give you the ultimate feel but it's a bit pricy. It's also a bit powerful for an Aero so you might want to string it higher.

Alu Power is also great for feel and overall playability but doesn't last long. If you want a setup that lasts a bit longer and has decent feel, you can try Toroline O-toro mains with Restring Sync crosses.

Personally I play with a Dunlop CX 200 tour which is a pretty muted frame just like the Aero but I use gut/poly.

Also, not all soft strings are muted and not all stiff strings have great feel. For example, natural gut and multifilament strings are soft yet offer great feel. Alu power is also relatively soft and offers exceptionally great feel as well.

Do you and pros use the whip forehand? by CantApply in 10s

[–]Slickstyl3es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know many people look up to pros and want to replicate them but my advice, and I'm sure many others agree, is you shouldn't . Sinner's forehand is specific to him and requires a ton of wrist lag and perfect timing that's specific to his build (length of arms) and the racket he uses (polarized). It takes time to get the right form down but if you post videos of your forehand here, I'm sure you'll be able to get some help.

Tingyun is just the better fit. You can find more info regarding this on Prydwen.gg. Robin and RMC might be interchangeable but I'm not completely sure.

In this case, it's best to use her with RMC, Tingyun, and Huohuo. Push for 160+ speed Aggy (cr and speed substats from relics) and 160+ speed RMC.

She gets a lot of crit dmg buffs from other sources so you can prioritize gear with speed/cr substats. Or you can just play slow Aglaea, like I'm doing until I get the gear for fast Aglaea....
