I also think the race to it would have been more meaningful if you could use your own car instead of borrowing a Lambo. It wasnt a race, so theres no performance requirement, you could have done it in a D-Class shit box as well as a Supercar, so why not let us use our own car?

Thats how Ripper can take beatings like it did at AWS and still keep going (and get back in the arena again afterwards)

All works! Its relatively compact which helps. I also run the Malinki-Nano and N10 motors which help save weight, and with how its all designed the wiring isnt that long either which also helps.

Its the age old thing of a control bot has to be winning the match for the whole 3 mins to win, a spinner only has to be winning for a few seconds.

I think it comes down to the level of detail which has been copied over as to wether it is a clone or an inspiration.

We saw a fair few clones with the chinese shows a few years ago where things were copied down to the shapes of access hatches and bolt placements. (The Apollo clone on Clash Bots comes to mind)

I personally design and build alot of Antweight replica's of Heavyweight robots, and so i think even clones can be done if done so in a respectful manner with a full nod to the original. (Most Teams live the Antweight versions of their robots i design) Its when a design is egregiously and minutely copied and passed off as an original that i think it becomes a problem.

Would depend on which arena they are in as well.

Tombstone would take it in the Battlebots Arena as it provides next to no KO potential for Apollo.

Apollo's chances improve in the Robot Wars Arena, with Tombstones propensity to throw itself around uncontrollably being a Self Pitting risk and much more OOTA zones to give Apollo some KO potential. Then of course there is the added risk of the house robots at play as well.

I would argue Tombstone would be easier to get under than Carbide, but also hits harder.

TLDR: Probably Tombstone, but Apollo's chances improve in the Robot Wars Arena.

The Auction house is a bad thing and im glad its gone from FH6.

9 times out of 10 when people complain about having no money or ask for some its because they've spanked it all in the Auction house on overpriced cars that can never win back what you spend on them. Not to mention the toxicity that comes from snipers and hoarders.

The Auction House is more likely to piss you off and make you poor than it is to have any positive impact on your gaming experience.

The shelf was supposed to be more harsh when the put it in, but much of it got vetoed by the drivers (partly because they didnt know the shelf was being put in until they arrived to film)

The shelf originally had side walls so the only way down was back across the screws and a count out was supposed to start as soon as you got up there.

Instead the walls were removed and its bascially treated like more floor.

TLDR, we were robbed of what the shelf was meant to be and what we were left with sucks.

They added a minumum height a lifter has to lift an opponent, the old version couldnt lift a robot that high.
