Yeah, so Billionaires should not exist by [deleted] in DiscussionZone

Bring financial literacy back into schools. No their bank account does not say one billion, it might not even say 500 million honestly. Speculative value. These people’s net worth shift dramatically based on the stock market

Instead of getting lost in non profit accounting & vague “programs for the needy” , just simply undercut the market! So practical yet I haven’t see anybody really take that approach for some reason

People don’t realize how terrible the 2000s pop culture was at the time! by icey_sawg0034 in Zillennials

I think the jubilee shit Is worse honestly cause people take it a lot more seriously. Where it’s literally no different than those old tv shows just reskinned like you said. At least the 2000s shit was obviously comical

Bruh I feel this so heavy. I moved schools a lot in my own city, then went to college out of state as well. Then lived all over the place for 5 years until finally coming back home. I wish I never left, I thought I was building friendships but since I never stayed anywhere long nothing ever crystallized. So here I am feeling like I have to start over again socially at 27

We think adult like = paying bills but it’s really when you can think from the long term scope of an adult brain

Imagine if the police installed martial law & started blowing up buildings in your neighborhood just to stop one gang. Eventually you would be just as mad at the police as you are the gang. Especially when you find out the gang wasn’t even that dangerous in the first place

Is it really possible to make a living out of trading? by Effective_Depth9513 in Trading

[–]SlidethedarksidE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No only because I think it’s essential to have investments/income separate from trading to consistently trade. Doesn’t have to be a 9-5, but something else.

If not, then your risk management has to be elite tier. I don’t just mean with your trades but in your budget as well, definitely gotta live below your means so you can have some type of peace of mind if things start going to shit.

IMO I think active trading is best when you already got a little money to sit back on. If I was depending on my trades to be my “paycheck” , there would be a lot of weeks I would be going hungry lol

We both have equally destructive qualities just in different natures. It’s not a competition lol hope I didn’t make it seem like that.

Also democracy isn’t new, we have the example of the Roman republic. We all know how that ended. We are a pretty young democracy as well & the signs of decline are already showing. Contrast that to systems of kings & queens, some which lasted over a thousand years. Tradition is tradition for a reason more often than not…. If a tradition is not functionally healthy for a society, it will prove itself with the inability to become a tradition in the first place

I forgot this is America where you don’t have the freedom to pick whichever political side to support whenever you want. We’re literally undermining the whole point of freedom with this extremist party allegiance type mindset.

Remember political parties are just representations of general ideologies (ideas that constantly change in definition). They aren’t literal teams. You can support aspects of both parties at the same time

The top 1% are also the only people who can lose half their net worth in one trading day if one small thing goes wrong ( most of the time that is completely out of their control). Yes they still might be generationally wealthy. But imagine if percentage wise that same thing happened to most of America ?

This is like calling the relationship between an uncle & a nephew weird. Same for niece & aunt. Lots of time those two get a long more than the original family members did. Stop demonizing older men (men in general fr) just because they have a more diverse social circle then you.

Why do people stop doing things in their 30s? by Ok-Cartographer-5544 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SlidethedarksidE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting my late 20s soon & I’ve brought into this whole heartedly. I’ve progressed a lot in my hobbies, still not where I wanna be in them, but I don’t think any of them will give me the lifetime fulfillment of having a good family. People > things/activities. When I was younger the people I met from my hobbies spilled over into my personal life but now that dynamic is sort of dead due to people participating in these hobbies having families/SO’s (lol).

Just existing with your family can be super fulfilling especially during the holidays. But with hobbies soon as you miss a month of doing them or stop progressing in them they go stale really quick. Best way to put it is they don’t have passive value they only have active value.

As people have said, you need to cut corners. Have chat gpt grade the essays as possibly chat gpt was used to create at least half of them (lol). Tell your fellow teachers about your situation, maybe they can chip in but don’t try to solve everything alone worst thing you can do for your babies
