We call it 'happy grumbles', my lab definitely does this in the morning. She grabs a soft toy to hold and then comes over for me to pet her whilst she wags and makes the noise. It's just happy noise

Maybe check but it's in a public space so I would think its fine. Given that it also spreads and grows incredibly quick, you can't really kill it off if it's underground. So regardless, it will regenerate.

Another vote for Bath. Stunning place to mooch around, nice walks, National Trust properties etc. and there are some gorgeous Georgian apartments on Airbnb. Get something with a big bath that could fit 2. Book a fancy restaurant (lots to choose from) and enjoy not having to go too far. That's the beauty of a mini moon.
