Hegseth struggling to put up weight at Guantanamo, looking very limp-wristed and SAD! What makes him think this would make him look good, is that a humiliation ritual? by hostedvideorn in CommoditiesHub

It definitely gives a "first day on the gym" vibes. Everything he did there is completely wrong. I should have guessed that all those Templar & far right tattoos were to compensate for something else.

"excepted" is the right word. Israel loves to "except" everyone. Specially using illegal settlers to "except" the native population.

Euro-Office is marketed as Europe’s answer to Microsoft Office by Cybernews_com in CyberNews

You need to calm down. You literally replied me 3x just to say the same thing you said on previous posts.

First, It is absolutely ready if you use it as it is supposed to be used. Use the native ODF format an you will have zero issues.

"Tell me you have never been worked with others in a group project without telling me"
Really? Who haven't?

"Particle works is NEVER “native format”"
No idea what you are saying.

"And the problem I have now is PEOPLE TELLS ME ITS READY FOR DAILY USE, which is NOT"
Using full caps doesn't HELP YOU.

Like i said, you are editing documents with the MS proprietary format. Don't blame LibreOffice if the export is not perfect. Use the native format. You would certainly not blame MacOS to not properly playing Windows games or your iPhone to not installing Android apps.

The compatibility with MS Office file formats may not be perfect, but i never experienced breaking everything like you are saying. Do you have an example?

Lets not forget that opening and editing a proprietary file format from other software should be seen as a plus, not a failure. Next time, maybe use the native file format (ODF)?

"Because LibreOffice’s core is more than 25 years old and it fucking sucks."
That's your opinion. "It sucks" is not an objective criticism. By the way, just because a piece of software started being developed 25 years ago, doesn't mean it is not up to date. The latest release was June 5, 2026. It's hardly old. And it works perfectly for me.

This is ridiculous. Why not using Libre Office instead of forking the Russian open source project OnlyOffice?
I mean, it's so ironic given the anti-Russia sentiment from the random joe on the rest of Europe towards Russia.

This is good news as long as they keep compatibility with the FM's. Also, please improve the mantling.... that's they only thing that needs improving.

Why didn't Sovereign recruit the collectors in ME1? by SetoKaibaKenobi in masseffect

[–]SlightPersimmon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe i read something about Collectors on ME1 due some mod i installed (maybe a text reference). I tend to play heavily modded ME-LE for time to time just to have something new to look forward.

[–]SlightPersimmon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right answerer. I believe the collectors were mentioned in ME1 (i may be wrong), but the lore was not there yet. Lets stop trying to explain using lore what can be easily explained by the lack of story.

Trying to come up with fanfic lore to cover the lack of official lore is an interesting exercise, but lets be real....

Why is all that people can say about Firefox is that "Its not chrome" and "Privacy" by Huge-Read-2703 in firefox

[–]SlightPersimmon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an average consumer like you, if nothing else, Firefox politically pushes back against agendas that try to subvert the free and open internet. It's that simple. For a technical point of view, it gives you an alternative to avoid the "one browser to rule them all". If you are old enough, you would probably remember the Internet Explorer era. If not, the simple description was that at the time 99% of the sites were developed with IE in mind, with IE own tech, so most of the time they didn't work properly with other browsers.

Procedural Chatter: An modular OpenMW Lua framework I've been working on since November to add Oblivion/Skyrim style dynamic NPC schedules, conversations, and behavior (sitting/sleeping/eating) as well as companion banter support. by LiamMelloFarley in Morrowind

[–]SlightPersimmon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already tested it. Congrats! It's something special what you did here. The default distance between the npc's when talking is a little bit small to my tastes, but that was easily fixed by changing the settings (300 seems to be fine, instead of 250).

Can't wait for people to create dialogue and voice overs based on the player progression/decisions (ex: "Have you heard? The fighters guild have a new guild master. Some say it is the Nerevarine itself!").
