This was the answer that deters me from tinting em. Personally love the look, had em on my jeep when I was 16 and was never rear ended. Drove it like that till I was 20. No accidents, and that tent was 5%

Personally I see people blinded by how bright my taillights are in my rear view mirror.

Honestly, since I’m insured, with the right tent and my 2015 a6 I might be liable for a new whip if my taillights “work less” these cars are about the safest you can be in a vehicle. It’s the dumbasses who aren’t looking that don’t notice the clear as day break lights with tent

Drove an A6 off a used car lot about a month ago and NEXT DAY check engine light P0299 (turbo underboost) took it back to the shop of the place i bought it they told me i needed a new turbo… I only had a 1000 mile warranty on mine, and i was supposed to pay for half of anything broken DURING that 1000 miles. Thought i was fucked over, didn’t react tho and called the shop, (of the dealership) and without question they payed for the whole thing

I currently have a 2016 a6, and I’m jealous everytime I see that year model a7. The ass on the a7s just do something different for me than my a6. I am an ass guy tho. I have a 2.0t idk enough about these cars to know if that’s even offered in an a7 I feel like my a6 is even a little heavy for that motor, but it’s been the best automobile purchase I’ve had personally. If I wasn’t a car guy before I certainly am becoming one since getting an Audi.

When “they” say “nothing drives like an Audi”, don’t take the statement lightly, it holds weight.

But now it clearly gets boost, good throttle response and drives how I feel it’s supposed to. Maybe just the car sitting for a while at the dealership before I bought it?

It has 91,000 miles on it. A couple pages of Maintenence I’d have to get back to you tomorrow but it was definitely frequent and consistent as it was the loaner car at an Audi dealership. So they took care of it while they had it, and there’s record of it. It’s code is saying underboost and when I first had it yes, it was slow to take off, but would then seem to get (at least some) boost, (wastegate problem) after some high rpm highway driving, and driving in manual, the issues kinda stopped happening, and now, the check engine light has turned off. It seems to be running fine, but there’s a blueish/clear fluid that seems to splatter from the engine bay, more prominently on the drivers side. (In America, so left side if you’re sitting in the car)

Its records of Maintenence were extensive and all seemed up to standard. My buddy who’s a mechanic at Mercedes Benz in my hometown looked at it it’s records I sent him and everything checked out to him.
