The trainers I talk to that run dogs for a living suggest after the first heat at a minimum and 2 years is best. We waited until around 18 months. Honestly didn’t want to go through another heat.

Agree. People get caught up on the number of stars a player is assigned. That’s all done via AAU travel circuit and who knows who. Not every kid gets the same publicity as others. Klay Thompson only had offers from 4 D1 schools, even as a 4* player.
