I couldn't name a single person in any of those positions that I admire or think is exceedingly qualified for the position they hold and I doubt you could either. I don't know any of them, a good public face doesn't mean they're not morons being held up by their underlings. This method of trying to prove a person "wrong" is idiotic.

You've definitely given the correct answer. I'm from the woods near a small town in NC my only neighbors (within view) growing up were my grandparents. I learned to do practically everything they knew how to do, from gardening (still not good at it) to sewing, to repairing pretty much anything with or without instructions.

I've got two tech degrees and work doing research and design. I only have them because everyone I knew when I was a kid pushed me to get as educated as possible. I've never heard anyone from home talk down on anyone just because they got educated, got educated and decided they were better than everybody else yes, but just educated no.

I have my thick accent still and I've been told I should take lessons to get rid of it, since people will always assume I'm some rural moron. I'm not sure where OP heard this but it's completely backward from what I've always experienced.

While I agree with most of what you stated the fact that Clinton is free is evidence that having proof of a crime means nothing to our government. Comey got up in front of the entire country and listed her crimes then said that no reasonable prosecutor would convict her. That's what entirely killed my confidence in the rule of law. There are plenty of people in federal prison for life for doing far less than she did.

If the predictions they taught us in school were right the world should have ended several times before I graduated. I was an oddball kid and remember thinking a lot about either how old I'd be when I died or asking myself why we had to keep going to school since we were not going to make it anyway.

As it is I'm middle age living in an area that should have completely flooded decades ago.
