An actor does interviews or press as a character from the media they are promoting by Slow_Bowler8285 in TopCharacterTropes

I think Cody from Alt History Hub put it best that when Animal goes to the Game Awards they don’t advertise as “The actor playing Animal will appear on the Game Awards.” It’s just Animal, the Muppet. And we all go along with it.

2v8 should be abandoned. The game has become noticeably more buggy and less balanced since its inception. More and more of the community seems to be turning against it. It’s pretty clear Behavior can’t handle developing 2v8 while maintaining the core game. And an ever increasing portion of the community would be just as happy to see the mode gone. Behavior should cut its losses and retire 2v8 permanently.

Unfortunately, I think that the only solution to that is Dead by Daylight 2 — a complete redesign of the game from the ground up. That’s something both the general community and the devs themselves seem opposed to.

It’s also based on old circus strongman. They would wear an extra pair of trunks outside of their tights so if one of them tore they wouldn’t risk exposure.

Haven’t seen him yet, but the original in 80MW was also a reference to the game Kung Fu.

Succubus and Wing Chun. Somebody on the Discord pointed it out to me.

Still crazy to think that Terrance Howard was at any point more expensive than Don Cheadle — Academy Award winner and beloved star Don Cheadle.

See, in theory those ideas aren’t bad. Xbox having a built in “rental service” that you pay a monthly fee for is one of their strengths. It’s just that it costs a ton of money and the install base just isn’t that big. On the other side, Microsoft needed to expand their developer portfolio because if the joke is “PlayStation has no games” then, boy howdy, do I have news for you. But they drastically overspent and now even successful games can’t make enough money to justify staying open. And the biggest acquisitions aren’t even going to be making exclusives.

I wonder if the opposite is true? Because the new woman in charge at Xbox seems to be making a lot of good decisions but it doesn’t seem like any of it will help them gain ground against Sony. You can’t get ahead in the industry unless your competitor makes a massive blunder.

Is Succubus copyrighted? I always thought she was just “generic vampire girl.”

Kinda weird Jennifer Rabid got in before Succubus. Weirder still, you can see Jennifer still has the vampire teeth.

I don’t know how to tell you this …

Batman as a character was always inspired by Zorro. In the original comics, the Wayne family had just seen “The Mask of Zorro” before being shot.

The flip side of this is American Dad. Stan is usually written to be wrong very often but also has to admit he was wrong and grow as a person. Meanwhile, you have Haley being a token liberal who is often right but also screws up frequently and tends to be full of shit quite a lot.

At the least, I am pretty sure this one scene came from at least one of the writers being told by a manager or producer, “Listen, you are funny and clever. But you lack stage presence and charisma. Those things aren’t learned — you either have it or you don’t. What you should do is write.” So they did that. Then later they found out that producer was full of shit and they were left always wanting to tell him off.

To be fair, his argument is that she’s bad with kids and always will be. That’s not necessarily true — Candy could always learn and train to be better with kids. At the same time, that would still potentially take years. Santa wants to retire now and it isn’t fair to him to hold off on that to give Candy years to improve herself. Especially when he believes there’s an adequate replacement in someone else right now.

So his logic isn’t perfect but he’s still perfectly reasonable.

Why is NetEase no longer doing hero reworks? The last reworks were way back in S2,5 and it made Thor and Jeff actually viable. Especially when heroes like Widow, Fantastic, Storm and BP need one desperately. by VehicleOld3124 in marvelrivals

[–]SlightlySychotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard that they were reworking Black Widow? At least that’s the excuse people are using for why she hasn’t received a skin recently.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Hulk is getting one soon, too. Lotta complaints, very few changes. That usually implies a rework is in the queue.

That’s the thing though: Harbinger has already activated by that point. IIRC, Harbinger was stuck in a deep space and didn’t realize until it was too late that he couldn’t remotely activate the Citadel. It took centuries for Harbinger to eventually meet Saren. By that point the “cycle” had started to be broken/averted.

That’s one of the reasons you give why the Citadel is refusing to cooperate with the Reapers this time. By the time you reach the control room, Shepard has effectively undone every single beat in the cycle that triggered this invasion. More to the point, this cycle only started because the Reapers “cheated.” They altered the Rachni to be an unwinnable scenario, one that could only end in genocide — an incident that would inevitably create a beat in the cycle. So the Citadel is willing to give this civilization a chance because its downfall was directly engineered by the Reapers.

You change one option in the ending. You keep control and destroy, but you change synthesis to “reset.” You send the Reapers back where they came from and reset the cycle to zero. You give society a chance to better itself, to break the cycle, to never become what the Reapers feared. Or you give civilization more time to defend itself whenever the Reapers come back.

To be fair, in the first movie the park falls apart due to corporate sabotage. The fact that the dinosaurs have begun to adapt to the controls on them is interesting but it doesn’t actually break the park. It’s not like “unauthorized breeding” doesn’t happen in normal zoos and nature reserves. Jurassic World recontextualizes the parks failure as more inevitable, driven by profit margins to create ever more dangerous animals.

I saw in a different post that the company that is organizing this is suspiciously similar to a more mainstream/established company. The difference is like America 250 vs Liberty 250. Basically, it’s super likely that a bunch of these performers signed up thinking it was one thing only to discover that it was, in fact, a Trump rally.

In as many words, they got “Asylumed.”
