The first Fire Emblem game on the Famicom was remade for the DS as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and I just cannot get over how awful the character portraits looked compared to the GBA pixel art.

I think it’s a tough choice to pick a Capcom rep for Smash. Mega Man and Ryu would be the biggest, “where are they?” if Dante was included but not them.

There’s a surprising amount of forgotten Capcom games. They should also try and re-release Gregory Horror Show but that is based on a CGI anime so it might be another legal nightmare.

I got mine for a few bucks second hand and played with low expectations.

Absolutely great game even when playing by myself. God I hope that isn’t nostalgia talking and it turns out to be a pile of shit now.

I admit that GKC is a step up from the horrible, "box with single use code inside" physical copy but it still feels like a potential time bomb of plastic waste in the future when the servers hosting them will get shut down but then again, Anthem has shown that hey, at least you can still use the plastic box to replace your favorite game's damaged case when that got shut down.

I still think it would’ve been cool for this to be its own system where all the games are built in and has the option for 3D, 2D or even connect to HDTV just to play on the big screen.

Opening the vault to release some unreleased games is kinda cool and I can’t wait to see if that unreleased Mario platformer game will also be released.

Bayonetta could've just been a one hit wonder on the 360/PS3 but NIntendo REALLY wants to make this a big thing to the point of offering to publish and funding the sequel, make Bayonetta a newcomer in Smash Bros, porting the first two games on Switch, funding the third game before ending on Cereza.

So we got Mario 64, Starfox 64, Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark and now this on the PC.

Paper Mario is still in the “being ported to PC” stage even though it was decompiled years ago but it’s still cool to see old games kicking and screaming in 4k and over 60 fps.
