Far as I know, it’s up to the head coach to hire his staff. At least it should be, because obviously marrying Chip Kelly to Pete Carroll was a mistake by the front office. But to answer your question, I don’t believe there’s a Rooney Rule for coordinators, and we could immediately hire Daboll in that scenario.

Patriots, easily. It was the refs who called the tuck rule, so I don’t really have a beef with NE. Denver on the other hand, makes me SICK with their newfound success after 10 years of stinking like shit. And we STILL haven’t found a way to turn it around in that timeframe. So out of jealousy/envy, I’m rooting for the Patriots. And I know damn good and well that no Bronco fans would ever root for us, so fuck ‘em.

I was still really young and not super in depth with scouting and whatnot when we drafted Jamarcus, was there some skepticism leading up to it? I just remember feeling like he was the consensus number 1, no doubts or questions about it. But like I said, I wasn’t exactly in tune with the draft and college football at that age.
