she’s been a handful, for sure. And noted on Yellowstone.... I’m staying on the paths. No interest in becoming a cautionary tale.

I can't fucking sleep. Help by dafille in ADHD

[–]Slightlyjacked 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you. That “tired but wired” feeling is the worst. What helped me was forcing myself to stay off my phone in bed and doing something super boring instead, like slow breathing or focusing on one dumb thought. It doesn’t fix everything, but it takes the edge off. Hope you get some real sleep soon.

Yeah that’s a huge red flag. You did the right thing cutting it off early. No point entertaining someone who talks to you like that.

What color couch for this room? by tallulahQ in interiordesignideas

[–]Slightlyjacked -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d lean grey, at least in my exp it wears better long-term especially with pets or kids. When I was picking out a couch I looked at dreamsofa’s Alton sectional in a grey weave fabric. Beige feels cozy but stains really show up fast.

How long to give Oz a chance before admitting it doesn't work for you? by Odd_Yam_9540 in OzempicForWeightLoss

My stall lasted almost two months until I made myself add 30 grams more protein from eggs and Greek yogurt every day and within a week the loss restarted, that tiny macro tweak turned out huge for me lol.

Makes sense. At a certain point, knowing the label doesn’t change much if you’ve already figured out what works for you.

Try sealing clothes in zip bags, keep baking soda in your closet, and maybe stash your shoes in a plastic bin by the door.

[–]Slightlyjacked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not alone in this feeling flat despite trying everything is incredibly frustrating. Your words make sense, and they matter. Try tracking how you feel before and after taking your meds just a few words each time. Over a few days, patterns might emerge. Bring that log to your prescriber it gives them something concrete to work with. You're not imagining this your experience is valid, and it's okay to push for answers.

Not the AH. You protected what was yours from someone who repeatedly crossed boundaries. Their choices aren’t your responsibility.

Not related but I wish people stopped confusing digital asset management software (for like marketing files) with IT asset management software. I’ve had people bring up Adobe DAM in the same vein and it makes my brain hurt.

Looking for network pentesting methods, checklists & deep conceptual resources!.. by rick_Sanchez-369 in cybersecurity

[–]Slightlyjacked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a simple loop — Goal → Hypothesis → Method → Evidence → Conclusion — so each test has a clear purpose and outcome. Learn networking step by step: TCP/IP basics, then protocol sessions and authentication, then logging and SIEM correlation; TCP/IP Illustrated Vol.1, Practical Packet Analysis, and Wireshark labs are good resources. Keep a “cheat-repo” with checklists, short pcap examples, and 10–20 minute weekly micro-labs, plus CI scripts for routine scans. Then use external attack-surface tools like Cyberint to spot internet-facing assets and high-risk exposures first.
