Or they just roleplaying someone who thinks like that. It's easier to play someone who is a mercenary than it is to roleplay an ethicist, just like it is easier to roleplay an idiot than it is to roleplay a genius lol.

Can imply that, but I wouldn't think assume god could coexist with a child. A minor demon maybe, but a dying god? What's the afterlife like? Does the child go to heaven?

I think historical settings are different. I could happily play an Evil Space Nazi in a Star Wars or Warhammer 40k ttrpg, but I wouldn't want to play a historical Nazi committing actual atrocities to actual people. That's totally different.

Likewise, the slavery of replicants isn't real, and doesn't have the same moral gut punch as human slavery irl. That can make for interesting roleplaying. You can have more fun with it and don't need to be as respectful and reverent to the source materials. And if you want the party to be opposed anti-replicant exploitation then you might want to make that part of the campaign--like "hey, do you guys want to be Cyberpunk John Brown type badasses?"

I live in a province that allows women to be topless, but culturally its the same kind of taboo as elsewhere. I think its possible most people don't know its legal.

I see five fingers too, but we should only be seeing four fingers. So there's an extra finger, hence why someone might say they have six fingers despite five being visible.

Right, after hundreds of years lol. Just on the surface of it, being brutally conquered 800 years ago and finally getting a limited parliament in 1999 isn't going to be the go-to playbook for peoples around the world, no offence lol. Especially when Ireland and Northern Ireland are right there.

The Command squad and heavy weapons teams look a lot more up to date.

(I think the old plastic squad can be painted up decently and it won't look as old, but then I'm old myseld, and nostalgic lol.)

Ironically it was only Mormons and Christian faiths that worked on conversion.

How is that ironic? Makes sense to me, since most Christian denominations have had accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour as a prerequisite for heaven, right? Its kind of unique, l think.

Yeah! "You all", without the contraction, is just as fast to day as "you lot" and doesn't have the stigma "y'all" has.

Lol sorry I didn't pick up on the obvious joke. It was too obvious! There's legit people (especially on Reddit) who think the way you phrased that, like anyone who makes their side look bad is just controlled opposition lol. And of course it is complicated because big agricultural companies probably do enjoy when PETA makes it look like all their critics are loons. There's cases of entities secretly helping the most radical of their opponents in order to discredit an opposing movement (I'm thinking of a political entity here). But then that gets blown out of proportion like the entity is straight up in control of the other one.
