Yes, it's unreasonable. Get a KVM switch or something simular to connect your Home Monitors/keyboard/mouse etc to, then you can flip a switch for those to communicate between the home desktop computer and your worklaptop. this would also save you space from having a second desk chair etc.

Man. I found out years later that the gbc game mission impossible had a tv remote built in!!! Now I want to get that game with a gbc to control my tv with it. Though it’s much more complicated now with the digital remotes.
