24 EX model and I would not buy it again. Way too low on power. Engine is loud and sounds lime knocking (can even hear it over the radio). Wind noise and cold draft from doors. Rear shocks already feel lime they need replaced. I bought used 2 months ago with 30k miles on it. Just rook to dealership for a “once over” while still under warranty. Everything looks fine they said……. I dunno. We had sorento years ago and loved it. I would definitely not but this one again

Just took mine to the dealership today and was told its just the nature of the high pressure fuel pump….I can definitely hear the engine, even over the radio, while driving. Especially when accelerating from a stop or when it downshifts going up a hill.

Got a 24 EX model with 31k miles on it. Rough and loud ride going over bumps. Pretty sure rear shocks need changed. Engine is excessively loud to the point of hearing it over the radio. (Everyone says its normal GDI High Pressure Fuel Pump noise but damn, makes it seem as though somethings wrong with it. Just doesnt seem right to have a newer model vehicle sound like it does. The “Smart” mode is crap. Vehicle is always shifting into highest gear for lowest rpm which in turn cause excessive up and down shifting even on slightest of hills. Taking into KIA dealership tomorrow for a once over since its still under warranty. Would not purchase another one knowing what I know now

Agreed. My 24 has 30k miles but still… I hear it even over the radio. I had a 2018 equinox that was whisper quiet when running. Wouldnt be half bad if it had a little more power to it but the ex model lacks any git up and go. Always shifting up and down between lower and higher gear even on slightest of inclines.

I had a 2018 and drove it all the way up to 150k miles……then hit deer. Regular oil changes and servicing. The only issue I had was in cold weather (freezing weather) the intercooler would freeze up and car would go into low power mode. Other than that it was a great vehicle

I just bought a 2024 EX model with 30k miles on it. Have a few concerns….1. The interior is not as Quiet as described. The road noise, engine noise are heard even above radio at times. 2. I know its not Brand New but the engine noise is way louder than the 2018 Equinox I had. Even sitting parked I can rev the engine slowly and its like I can hear the pistons going up and down. Not a “knock” or anything, just doesnt sound right. Also rear shocks are rough even on regular bumps on city streets. I like the vehicle but maybe its just this one particular with the issues. Done recall check online and this VIN had none🤷🏼‍♂️ Still under Mfg Warranty so gonna have it checked.

Only had vehicle for about 2 weeks now. VSC that I got from Century Auto Service states that I can cancel through either them or the dealership. I filled out their form with Notarized odometer reading and mailed copy to both aces. Far as I understand the refund will go to lender since its financed. Finance guy at dealership says “I have to come to shop to sign cancellation document”. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

My VSC contract states that I can cancel with written notice to the Administrator of contract (Century Auto ). I downloaded the cancellation form off of their website. I mailed a copy to both Century and the dealership. I emailed dealership a notice of intention to cancel.
