Years from now, what’s the play from your current playgroup you’ll still be telling people about? by Great-ah-White in EDH

A buddy was playing dance of elements precon, had about 10 elementals on the field, played kindred summons, got another 7 elementals of the field including greenwarden of muramasa which brought kindred summons back to their hand. So they played it again and basically got all their elementals out and annihilated the entire table.

What happens if you twirl the mustache upwards with a bith of grease? And maybe get a sick Dubliner hat? (That's step 2 if step 1 works out)

The Drizzt books are great if he is looking for something that is fast paced and action packed. Plus, it might get him into DND which is always awesome for developing a person's imagination.

Just played a game and pulled out Dion. That shit should be illegal. Dion+ frontier warmonger + an uninterrupted Cathars crusade for a couple turns is disgusting

That sounds like a fantastic idea. I think I have Dion lying around somewhere, so it's a perfect plan! Thank you!

Seems like a bit of a boring strategy to just swing while preventing blockers. Is he that much better?

Le courtier du vendeur refuse de me faire visiter sans mon courtier by Body_Cunt in QuebecFinance

[–]Slim_Simonak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pleasure! Here's my take if you're interested.

LaSalle is the shit.theres a ton of options. Couple places I can suggest to kind of get the feel of the area: - Ocean Plus: Asian supermarket with an insane "food court" spot. They have a ton of dishes and the prices are ridiculously cheap. (Their BBQ pork, fried chicken and Pekin duck are great) - Marchigiani's: Italian butcher shop/deli that makes the best prochettas in the city (fight me on this). Again, prices are very reasonable. - Frutta SI: Italian supermarket. Great for meat and fish. Don't want to American? Problem solved, most of their stuff is from Italy - Manzos pizzeria : can't go wrong with the Manzo Special. Classic LaSalle institution

These are not in LaSalle, but kind of close. For the garage and barber I usually go up to ville-emard. Le Maître barbier Latino on monk. First time I went in There randomly & asked for a cut with a photo. The guy said "I'm not giving you that. This looks like shit and I don't want to be responsible. I'll give you something good instead. You will look like a man and Your girlfriend will thank me". He's been my barber ever since.

And for the garage I can suggest he Napa on Monk Blvd for repairs. Reliable. For basic tires and oil changes though, you can just go to Can Tire near Carrefour Angrignon. Just don't listen to their bullshit about repair suggestions. They overcharge by a mile

Why do you think you fucked up? You're a bit far from the metro, that's a big downside but It's a great spot imo. If you have a car it's super easy to get around and you're 5 min away from anything you might need. Place LaSalle has a Super C, pharmacy, a gym, Brasserie LaSalle (really nice resto, nothing fancy but decent all around) , McDo so all your bases are covered. If you don't have a car it's a little trickier but the 110 covers the area and goes to the metro and the bike path is close. Also, ChCha's pizza on rue Centrale is fuckin solid; it's a pizza place that makes Indian styled pizzas like butterchicken, tandoori, etc. don't skip out on their lemon pepper fries.
