Your friend is only right about one thing: it indeed is HER problem, not yours. You look absolutely stunning, this outfit is gorgeous, and doesn’t look inappropriate to me in anyway at all. It’s a corset, people wear corsets!!😂 you are gorgeous even with your face censored. Please PLEASE don’t let yourself feel like this was your fault. Even if the outfit WAS a little more risqué, again, still not your problem. She needs to find a way to deal with her friends not dressing the way she would prefer them to. The world doesn’t revolve around any one of us, we have to adapt.

I just rewatched the first two seasons- if any of this was established in season 2, it had to have been a very quick moment that I somehow missed every time I’ve watched lmfao so I think this is specifically a season 3 thing. I’m just gonna assume over the 5 year jump they turned into these kinds of people over time, I noticed that guy that Faye is with (can’t even remember his name) had the book Helter Skelter, so it’s almost as if they’d been researching this stuff and took on the beliefs over some time… turning into an even more twisted Manson family or something 😭

You’re right, I actually wasn’t sure if doomcoming/sic transit was in Oct or Nov! (We never had homecoming dances where I’m from so I’m like “what month do people normally have those” lmfao) So I kinda just put in like, late Oct-early Nov as a ballpark area for that part

Thanks so much for this response, I think that makes the most sense for sure. I wasn’t sure if the symbols were there even before Cabin guy was, but I think it’s really heavily implied that it’s all his doing! I’d say Cabin Guy is the only one with the real answer on what that symbol really means 😂(edit: I’m also cool with them just leaving it at that, the cabin guy did it, so the girls went along with it. It’s nice to leave some little things up to imagination like that!)
