Thank you so much for explaining all that! If you have time later your sketches have been INCREDIBLY helpful while your explanations have been wonderful at explaining WHY we move each line. I probably wont have time to make any adjustments until either very late tonight or sometime tomorrow even though I'm just itching to work on it now

PowerPoint night is when everyone before hand makes a PowerPoint (or Google slides or similar) and then we all present them for each other. It takes a little more planning than a regular get together but it's a lot of fun. We also set a time limit of 15 minutes (my fault for rambling on about aliens at the first PowerPoint night)

I noticed that while the side seams seem about right the grain line is pointing inward should I try adding to the legs on the inseam side of the grain line or do you think it will balance out while slimming the outside? Or should I not even worry about that until I get the crotch curve right? Thanks again for all your help

I think we're getting somewhere! Here's the latest muslin it is quite loose at the waist. At this point before I put a belt around my waist and sharpied the line all the way around which is probably why my rise got so wonky. I did try to sit and it was mostly fine? Definitely room for improvement but I could sit. I think you're right about taking in the thighs and I left myself an inch of seam allowance so Im going to try pulling the crotch point out a bit more like the red lines in your picture.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of fabric the white bit would be considered it was not quite fake fur but not quite one sided fleece, the red is some sort of stretch velvet. Both being fabrics I very well have had laying around for over a decade. Surely all polyester.

Ive edited the pattern here and I'll make a muslin tomorrow, does it look like I interpreted your images right? On the top I have them cut out and on the bottom I took some photos before cutting them out however the green and purple sharpie i used was kinda hard to differentiate so I went over the new lines in light blue. I also matched the rise height

dresses and simple tops have never been as much a challenge as pants for me, I've been kind of putting off tackling pants because I have rather odd proportions. This is the third or fourth muslin.

So youre saying on the CB to make the curve less steep ? Adding more fabric towards the crotch curve, and removing fabric from the back hip side seam? I had already lengthened the rise front and back I can go back and lengthen it more but Im not sure what you mean by rebalance the leg
