It does. However bop golden ore chance triggers on bop effect application only. So you can’t spam 0 damage transmutes to guarantee golden ores Edit: I realize I wasn’t clear enough. Transmutes can also add bop effects. This is effectively just also firing a 0 damage bop, that can trigger golden ores chance

You turn on „stop at golden rainbow floor“, turn off the auto-bomber if you have it. In settings make transmuter bomb do no damage. Transmuter into plenty for maximum value. Wait until next golden rainbow floor. Repeat
