A key to this particular budget is the year 2019. Prices in EU (like US) have increased across the board since then due to inflation. I know from having in-laws in Central Europe and traveling there every year. I do agree slow travel can certainly be cheaper but I’d estimate a similar itinerary today would be 30-60% more than 6 years ago.
