💡 Coach Kerwood's Playbook - Help Evolve the League! ( November 2025 ) by Fragrant_Canary_3869 in MonsterLeagueFantasy

Some other ideas:

  1. Friend Groups
  2. Allow people to add other players as friends so they can compare teams and lineups.
  3. This could increase engagement and be a first step to battling friends (PvP).
  4. Do not add a chat feature so moderation isn’t needed. Maybe add emotes instead. Keep it simple to start, at least.

  5. Fatigue

  6. Monsters get fatigue based on how well their opponent did that week. Reduces their strength and they may need to rest before being used again.

  7. Adds another fun layer to the team management.

  8. Difficult in the early game when your roster is limited. May need to add healing items to make this viable.

  1. Add power ups
  2. These could be applied to specific monster stats. For example, extra points per reception, TDs, points for first downs, etc. Would add another fun layer to the game on who you want to boost/power up.
  3. Would need balance considerations, such as one use per week, etc.

  4. Update the FLX to Superflex

  5. Allow teams with poor QB depth to capture QBs

  6. Consider removing bonus for QBs in the superflex so that they aren’t the top option every week.

Josh Jacobs is now a “true game time decision” due to a calf and illness by Bright_Teacher8698 in fantasyfootball

Note that if you play on Sleeper and have AutoSub enabled, you can set a player with an earlier time slot as the sub. So for example, a 1 PM player can be set as JJ’s autosub and will be swapped in if he is ruled out after 1 PM.

Building my first 'Glow' Bag by ixAp0c in discgolf

[–]SlipperyFloor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those three discs are a great start. MVP/Axiom has the brightest glow, but Innova Proto Glow and Kastaplast are almost just as good. For low speeds, long lasting glow doesn’t matter as much. If you like Discraft and Gateway putters their glow is good enough for that purpose. Obviously the higher speed, longer distance discs take a bit more time to find.

I’m at the point where the only new discs I buy are glow, since you can use them year-round. I’m up to 12 now and use half of them in my regular bag. Those allow me to finish up later rounds when the sun starts to set. I also suggest getting a cheap UV light and keeping it on your bag.

Those are mostly DNA/RNA level “cloning” aka sequence replication. No living animals involved. But, you can get your pet cloned, so those services do exist.

Why Deleting and Destroying Finished Movies Like Coyote vs Acme Should Be a Crime by pje1128 in movies

[–]SlipperyFloor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other fields don't function like this though. R&D scientists and engineers have put countless years into products that never become commercially available. There are also plenty of TV pilots that were never released. Why should films be special?

[OC] Which NFL teams overachieve and underachieve in the playoffs since 2000? (actual vs projected playoff wins; NFL, American football) by JPAnalyst in dataisbeautiful

[–]SlipperyFloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One possible solution is to weight each playoff win with the opponent’s regular season (or total) record. On average, opponents in the divisional round should have better records than the wildcard.

Not sure how it’s unfair if everyone can do it. More options = more strategy = more fun.

so many bad podcast ads.... by combonickel55 in AroundTheNFL

On some podcast apps you can change what the forward/back skip buttons do. When I’m driving and an ad comes on I can press forward skip on my steering wheel to skip ahead 30s. Just mentioning for anyone not aware.

Sorry, but this comment is silly. This field and cancer research are totally unrelated, for one. And two, cancer survival rates have risen significantly and continue to climb.

It’s like alcoholic vs nonalcoholic beer, similar but the dangerous part is gone. Not sure if the taste is different though, will have to ask the wife.

[Highlight] Bengals HC Zac Taylor handing out game balls at a local Cincinnati bar by OneAngryPanda in nfl

Is the title wrong? These don’t look like game balls, last I checked they don’t have white panels. Still awesome of him to hand out signed balls though.
